Live Music FEBRUARY 4 THE JON DRYDEN TRIO—Eclectic Selections Dryden’s trio incorporates his own modern jazz compositions alongside songs by David Bowie, Elliott Smith, Big Star, The Beach Boys, and The Leſt Banke. The music is engaging and musically adventurous. The trio features Dan Robbins on bass and Jason Lewis on drums. FEBRUARY 11 THE CAPRICCIO TRIO—Classical Music Classical music masters Dahna Rudin on cello, Dmitriy Cogon on piano, and Alex Eisenberg, violin bring their critically hailed concert featuring Latin composers to the Redwood City Outpatient Clinic. Featured will be the Second Piano Trio by Spanish composer Joaquin Turina, as well as works by Fernandez Arbos and Cesar Cui. FEBRUARY 18 THE CATS 3—Jazz, Pop, and TV Tunes Cats 3 is a great Bay Area jazz trio featuring Marshall Shapiro on keyboards, Andrew Boyle on electric bass, and Ricky Takahashi playing drums. Their setlist is a mixture of fun jazz standards, popular radio songs, and fun TV and cartoon jingles. The Cats 3 guarantee an exciting show for all ages and are sure to get those toes tapping, and heads bobbing. FEBRUARY 25 MASON RAZAVI TRIO—The Music of New Orleans Mason Razavi is a jazz guitarist, composer, and educator in the San Francisco Bay Area. His albums have garnered praise from critics and have received airplay internationally. Razavi has been described as a “thoughtful player and composer that offers the listener an introspective experience of deeper meaning” by Jazz Times. Today he brings his trio to the Redwood City Outpatient Clinic to play the music of New Orleans in celebration of Fat Tuesday!
