Murder at the Manor House II

The SantA sleigh slay!

The Unusual

Suspects

Saturday December 10th, 6:30 for a 7:00 (sharp) start

In a nutshell, this is a Murder Mystery night, written specially for the event and hosted by the Armadale Branch of the Liberal

party. Having said that, it is going to be light on politics, so it is safe for friends and family with a different political

viewpoint.

It is a costumed event, set in the 1920’s, so it is an excuse to get dolled up for the night. Players in the game will be putting

together clues and the scripted and acted sections to determine who the culprit is (one of the special guests on the previous

page is the killer although, not even they will know it until it is revealed at the end). This is going to involve talking to other

people to get their clues, in character if possible. Teams that wish to work together to gather all the information they can are

welcome (and if they win, will have to share the trophy.)

There are two main acts, the first of which sets the scene and introduces the suspects, and the second which will allow players

to work out motives and how the suspects are linked, not only with each other but with the victim. The Storyline and

characters continue from the last Murder Mystery, but you won’t be penalised if you weren’t present for the last

one...everything you need to solve the crime will be there on the night.

There will be prizes for the person (or team) who best deduces the culprit and motive as well as prizes for the best costume

(Male, Female, Young Person). The tone will be very much in the humorous vein of Fawlty Towers, so it is appropriate for

10+

Finger food and soft drinks will be provided on the night, and there will be a cash bar available for those that want to partake

in a tipple.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are often told that people are bored going to Quiz nights and Sundowners, and that people wish

there was something different happening. This is it; It will be a fun, interesting night of black humour, fantastic company and

great entertainment. Even if you don’t want to play to win, it will be a hugely entertaining night, and cheap at the price.

Thank you to all the dignitaries that have given of their time to take on the roles of the suspects.

Yes, I would love to come for an evening of good natured

entertainment, drama and being insulted by the Butler!

No, unfortunately I cannot attend, but I would love to

donate funds to the local campaigns anyway!
