Wellington is a popular conference tourism destination due to its compact nature, cultural attractions, award-winning restaurants and access to government agencies.
More than most cities, life in Wellington is dominated by its central business district.
Wellington's compact city centre supports an arts scene, café culture and nightlife much larger than many cities of a similar size.
