Munawar Mughal

Munawar Mughal hails from Rawalpindi and a renowned and popular businessman of twin cities and Pakistan. He is founder of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Besides three times President of ICCI, currently he is vice president of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry. Energetic Mughal has been taking keen interest in trade and business of twin cities. He helped organize SAF Games in Islamabad. On need-priority basis, he solves problems of traders in collaboration with CDA, police, FBR, BOI and SECP.

Munawar recommends qualified persons for good governance of PIA, OGRA, PEMRA, PTCL and Pakistan Railways. He is committed to achieve US$100 billion annual trade volume of Pakistan. Good relations with China, ASEAN and India are necessary. Honorary Consuls in Pakistan must play active role. Services Export Development Council will see the horizon in 2014. Pakistan has huge potential to export sports, higher education, software designing and advertising services to the world.

At office, Munawar Mughal regularly monitors performance of some committees of FPCCI. FPCCI is planning to activate its overseas offices in Chengdu, London and Dubai. He facilitates chambers of commerce in Chakwal and Vehari in attaining ISO-9000 certification. He keeps himself abreast with technology and wants leading event management companies agencies to organize business-cum-trade events of foreign countries throughout Pakistan especially in Faisalabad and Hyderabad. Married Munawar lives a happy life in Islamabad.
