Sitcom Setup • Congratulations! You have been selected to be a member of the cast of a new

reality series entitled “America’s Next Top Genius: Downtown.” (The budget for the show is next to nothing, so no one can afford to send you and your cast members to some exotic location…sorry.) Everyone on your show is highly intelligent… in some way or another. Sometimes this can be a blessing when you all are assigned a task to complete and everyone works together. Most days, though, this creates high drama. Your task today is re-create a scene from your show in which your dominant intelligences created harmony or chaos.

• You have 15 minutes to design and rehearse your scene. Time limit for scenes is no more than 3 minutes.

• At the end of your scene, you must ask your audience to determine which character from your show displays which of Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences as his/her dominant intelligence. Remember, it’s not about how smart you are, but about how you are smart.
