Universe Multicultural Film Festival (UMFF) is anexciting and educational experience that opens the eyesan d mind s of its audience through the power of f i lm.This special event comes to Palos Verdes on A pril 12-14,2013, hosted in the Promenade on the Pe ninsu la, theRHCC Com m uni ty Cen te r, th e Peninsula Center Libraryand Rolling Hills Estate. UMFF will screen films fromaround the world with a variety of content within thecategories of Feature, Short and S tudent. There are filmsfrom 10+ countries and expect ing 5 ,000+ in attendancein UMFF, where international film delegations share th escreen with young and soon-to-be-known talents . Therewill be a number of cultural events, filmmaker tributes,industry seminars and gala receptions.The delegations of f ilmm akers, actors, producers andstudio heads from Mexico, China, Canada, an d Ukrainewil l at tend th e U M F F to support their productions. A llfilms will be premiered to American audiences followedb y Q&A sessions with th e artis tic team acco mpan y eachf i lm. The UM FF prov ides a way for f i lmmakers to meetfuture partners and share their deal m ak ing tips andinsights.

The three venues are the P rom enadePeninsula , RHCC Community Center and Peninsula Library. The UM FF celebrates cultura l dive rsity, cretolerance and global unity in its exhibition of excellenan d screenplays. W e showcase films and scripts that arestorytelling, strong in character development, an d holroots in diverse culture.This year, th e U M F F will screen 50 f i lms from 15 couincluding USA, Argentina, Bangladesh, China, Cuba, CDo m in go , Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico , Poland, Spain, Peru, and U k r a i n e . All f i lms arevoiced in Eng l i sh or contain English subtitles . Attendeechoose to view from a wide variety of features,documentar ies , and animations . Attendees m ay also partin industry panels , cultural events, engaging film Q & Ahosted film recept ions an d Galas .This year, we have a privileged Chinese film delegatiowil l at tend the 2013 UMFF.
