TAKISAWA TMM series are combined machines with high accuracy and
high efficiency in which turning and machining processes are completely
integrated. By changing the production line from serial to parallel and
automating the process using gantry loader and robot, they provide
rationalization investment effect.
With two spindles and two turrets located on the left, right, top,
and bottom, TMM series are able to perform complete machining
with high accuracy by one chucking. Therefore, they realize
overall cost reduction, high productivity, and high value added
production, such as lead time reduction, by reducing workpiece
transfer in the processes and greatly reducing setup time.

Module-3 Tool Spindle + Lower Turret
Module-3 is equipped with the tool spindle as the standard which has cutting performance of a full-scale machining center and a high-speed, high-accuracy index mechanism. Advanced milling is realized by combining 8000 min-1/11 kW milling power and B- and Y-axes control.15kW High-torque tool spindle, and 12,000min-1 high revolution. As to the tool spindle, 15kW high-torque type, and 12,000min-1 high revolution type both for 11kW and 15kW are selectable.The lower 15-station turret provides stable machining accuracy by the index device with high repeatability and excellent centripetal feature. For the 15-station turret, 4000 min-1/5.5 kW milling specification is optionally available. A vast range of tooling variations is available according to the workpiece, leading to high value added production.

Module-1 Upper and Lower Milling Turrets
Module-1 is equipped with upper and lower 15-station milling turrets as the standard which has both the highest accuracy and turning capability in this class and 6000 min-1/5.5 kW milling ability. The turret index device provides stable machining accuracy by the excellent repeatability and centripetal feature. Using the exclusive double holder, 30 tools in total can be mounted. Furthermore, if the holders are used on both turrets, 60 tools are possible. Rotary tools can be mounted in the all positions.The upper turret can perform Y-axis controlled milling. A vast range of tooling variations according to the workpiece realizes highly efficient process integration, leading to high productivity.
