L o u i s , Mo., h a s a v i v i 3 r e c o l l e c t i o n o f a UFO he and h i s b r o t h e r saw i n November 174% when he was . 17 y e a r s o l d , h i s b r o t h e r 16, and t h e two were l i v i n g w i t h t h e i r p z r e n t s i n C leve land , Ohir>.

As r e n o r t e d t o A r t E p s t e i n , of S t . L o u i s , t h e two boys were on t h e i r way home from an a f t e r - s c h o o l job i n a g r o c e r y s t o r e . I t was 'about s i x o r c l o c k and t h e boys were r u n n i n g because it was r a i n i n g . The c loud cover was v e r y low. Suddenly t h e whole a r e a became lit up a s if a h u p s e a r c h l i g h t had been t u r n e d 09. I t was a b l u i s h - w h i t e c o l o r l i k e an a r c l i g h t , and a s t h e boys looked up t o t h e s k y , t h e y saw a disc-shacecl o b j e c t abou t 35 f e e t i n d i a m e t e r . It l e v e l e d o f f j u s t below t h e c l o s 2 c e i l i n g , e s t i m a t e d t o b e from 300 t o 500 f e e t , The a n g l e a t whlch it came down t h r o u g h t h e c l o u d s was e s t i rnz ted t o b e a b o u t 40 d e g r e e s . A f t e r l e v e l i n g o f f and moving on f o r a s h o r t d i s t a n c e , it went back up t h r o u g h t h e c l o u d s a t a 30-degree a n g l e .

A s it was l e a v i n g , John saw what he thought t o b e a d e f i n 5 t s r i m cf a d i f y e r e n t c o l o r , a y e l l o w i s h orange . The t i m e f o r t h e e x t i r e s i g h t - i n g was no t more t h a n t h i r t y second:,, and M r . S c h r o e d e r b e l i e - ~ e s t h e o b j e c t was no f u r t h e r d i s t a n t t h a n 500 o r 600 f e e t .
