1Connect to the default Huawei B612/B618 Wi-Fi network SSID, and enter the ‘Wi-Fi key’ that can be found on a label on the bottom or back of the router

Get ready to upgrade your business to a fibre-like connection. MTN Business Broadband LTE is a perfect solution to offices using ADSL or 3G without access to fibre.

Follow these simple steps to connect, log in, set up, and manage your Broadband LTE connection, and you are in business.

Introduction

• To log in to the router, you will need to open your webbrowser and type 192.168.8.1 in the URL bar

• The log-in screen will automatically appear• Enter the default username and password• You can find the default username and password

on a label on the bottom or back of the router

• Once logged in, you will then complete three stepsas part of initiating the router for first-time use

• Tick the auto-update box, and then click ‘Next’3

A ‘Success’ message will show

Your admin password will then be the same as your Wi-Fi password

To change the admin password so that it is the same as the Wi-Fi password, modify the default admin password by ticking the box: ‘Same as Wi-Fi password’

Click ‘Next’ to skip the WLAN settings step

You will be redirected to the ‘Home’ tab

Proceed to set up APNClick on the ‘Settings’ option5

Select ‘Dial-up’ in the tab on the left of the screen6

Select ‘Profile Management’

And then select ‘New Profile’

Enter details as follows: • Profile name: Fixed LTE • Authentication: In the dropdown box, ‘PAP’ • APN: businessbb.lte (make sure that all the letters are lowercase) The username and password fields must be left empty

Then click the ‘Save’ button

Please note: For security purposes, it is recommended that you change the default username and password.
