Stanley Shen Stanley first started showing dogs in the 1980s as a junior handler & it was in this activity that he was to begin a dedicated involvement in the canine world. He was twice Runner-Up Junior Handler of the Year & his repertoire as a handler spans across all Groups including Whippets at Crufts on 2 occasions. Under the “Egoiste” affix, he has bred & shown Champions in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Shih Tzu, Pekingese & Lhasa Apsos. Over the years, he has imported these breeds from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA & Europe. In recent years, his home-bred Lhasa Apso, Multi Gr Ch Egoiste Dagger In A Smile, scored multiple All Breeds BIS wins resulting in #2 All Breeds in Singapore and #4 All Breeds in Indonesia.

In 2001, he was invited to be the guest speaker on a radio talk show to introduce dog shows to the public. This radio program was presented to listeners as 15 minute capsules on a weekly basis. The following year saw him being involved with “Emily World” & “Disney Channel” on Cable TV. One was a feature on dog breeders & the other, a spotlight on young people & their hobbies – in this case, dog handling. In 2003, he also attended the Special Judge’s Training Seminar in Japan lectured by Frank Sabella & Mary Beth O’Neil from USA & Fredrik Norgren from Norway. At an administrative level, he was a past Director of the Governing Council of the Singapore Kennel Club and has also served as its Show Chairperson & Litter Inspection Chairperson. For many years running, he has been the delegate for Singapore in the International Lhasa Apso Congress, an organization based in Sweden to promote health testing in the fight against Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Lens Luxation & Retinal Atrophy. Stanley is licensed to judge All Breeds. Besides Singapore, he has also judged in Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland & Brazil.

Beth Warman Licensed All Breeds Judge, I commenced judging in 1978, qualified All Breeds 2002 at age 39. Have judged extensively throughout New Zealand, in all states of Australia (including Hobart, Canberra and Darwin Royals), Singapore, Thailand, New Caledonia, Philippines, Norway, South Africa, Finland, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, China, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina Served on the Executive Council of Dogs New Zealand (New Zealand Kennel Club) in

excess of 10 years (with a break), and have served in all positions on all breeds and specialist breed clubs. Cocker Spaniels have been my life since childhood breeding, exhibiting and importing some of the most influential and successful Cockers of our times, in the early 70s American Cockers joined our successful CORSAIR Kennels, and also indelibly wrote themselves into the history books. Corsair will always be Cockers & Yankees, however from time to time we have campaigned with great success Bichon Frise, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Border Collies, an English Springer Spaniel, Pharaoh Hound and Long Haired Dachshunds – the Dachis have become well n truly ensconced at Corsair which began with the campaign of Australias #1 dog all breeds 2010, here in NZ where he finished the year as #1 dog all breeds 2012 I have been a keen dog photographer since the small Kodak instamatic days now of course we are spoilt with digital, I can proudly say that my image of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, who I campaigned, is the cover image on the AKC’s 22nd edition of the New Complete Dog Book Having never travelled to Canada, not even as a visitor, I look forward with great anticipation to judging your dogs and seeing your beautiful country
