Remember that it is your first set of Med exams, it’s more about finding out what to expect in further assessments and make sure that you are on track…so don’t be too hard on yourselves!! Sem 4’s make sure to spend time revising the important things, don’t get bogged down in too much detail…and use the anatomy models and fantastic lab resources we have here at Bond… Finally to Sem 7 students – JUST BREATHE. Everyone can get their ‘knickers in a twist’ about these upcoming barriers, and they may well be the most difficult exams you’ve sat to date, but remember, you have learnt a lot to date and you have the knowledge. You have all been studying hard and it will most certainly pay off on exam day… And to ALL students entering exams, make sure to eat well, get some exercise and plenty of sleep in order to be best prepared for your exams!! Looking forward to seeing you all back again in 123!!

Want to be involved in the biggest medical student event the Gold Coast has ever seen??

Applications are NOW OPEN for the AMSA National Convention Gold Coast 2013 Social Subcommittee!

The Social Subcommittee provides you the opportunity to become part of a team that will create experiences Convention delegates will never forget.

Our Subcommittee will be: social (naturally), driven, passionate, innovative, committed and team-focused.

What is required of Subcommittee members? The Social Subcommittee will have responsibilities both in the lead up to Convention and during the week itself. Members of the Subcommittee will be involved in the planning, research, and theming of events, requiring attendance at regular meetings on the Gold Coast. During Convention week, members will also have responsibilities at the venues on certain nights.

Convention has never before visited the Gold Coast. Being involved with the Social Sub- committee will be a challenging adventure, but also a once in a lifetime experience. Become a part of history and help us make this the greatest Convention ever!

To apply, please write an application of no more than 500 words, including: the university you are enrolled in, relevant experience (including Convention experience, previous roles of responbility etc.), reasons for getting involved, what you will bring to the team.

GP12 – RACGP Conference

Register for GP12 on the Gold Coast and enhance your knowledge of general practice

GP12 – The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners annual conference will be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 25 – 27 October 2012.
