• Large financial institution, objective branch level
performance data, longitudinal design, two waves
of data, perceived HR practices/work systems
• Quality orientation, goal effectiveness,
communication, pay satisfaction, job security
• More than 10.000 respondents, average response
rate around 80%
• An increase in one standard deviation HR
practices/work systems is associated with 165
million higher profit! (= more than 17 % of total
profits)

• Bachelor degree in Psychology, major - Work and Organisation

• First semestar – busy with lectures, weekly assignments, studying for the exams
A lot of scientific articles to read – building solid theoretical HRM base

• Second semester – one subject left, more free time, master thesis writing
