The Mentoring Program at CATÓLICA-LISBON is an unique and innovative project addressing students’ personal development through the contact with a CATÓLICA-LISBON Alumnus.

Our Alumni have a very close relationship with

CATÓLICA-LISBON, cooperating in a number of ways

with the School’s development and the maintenance

of its values. It is in this spirit that our Alumni

participate in the Mentoring Program and contribute

The Masters are full-time programs and participation in class is a requisite.

The International Master of Science in Finance is designed to deliver the broad range of tools sought by the very best companies, fi nancial institutions and public organizations.

The curriculum is structured to meet the requisites of the Chartered Financial Analyst [CFA®] Institute. This is a key asset in a career in finance, as it provides practical and relevant financial knowledge and skills.

This program emphasizes both theoretical rigor as well as practical aspects of finance.You can opt for a career in finance, consulting, management, auditing or corporate finance among others.

The International Master of Science in Business Administration offers you a top quality graduate education in Business. Your choice of major offers you the opportunity to invest and specialize in your favorite fi eld, while presenting a balanced perspective on business.

The program is designed to provide you with the relevant practical and academic knowledge required for an international career: it combines deep analytical skills with applied learning, project based and case based. You can opt for a career in management, consulting, marketing and communication, auditing, corporate finance, operations and technologies management, organizational management and human resources, among others.

Our Master in Economics prepares you for highly-skilled jobs and specialist positions in the private sector or in governmental agencies. The program structure is quite fl exible and the study plan can be tailored to suit both, applied or research-oriented profi les in Economics.

In the first year take the main academic courses and choose your major, and get professional orientation in Leadership Lab activities and throughout the summer internship. During the second year, mainly dedicated to general elective courses and the thesis project, you can have a learning experience abroad. You can opt for a career in economic research offices, public institutions and firms: consulting, finance, strategy, regulation and competition, accounting, among other areas.

Control your Destiny

A Double/Joint Degree can be the best passport for an international career!

In these programs you will spend one year at CATÓLICA-LISBON followed by a second year at the partner school of your choice.

A Double Degree experience offers you the opportunity

to gain a deep international understanding.

At the end of the program you will be granted with

two diplomas – one from CATÓLICA-LISBON

and one from our partner school.

Above all, the international immersion gained through

this experience is highly valued by recruiters and likely

to increase the potential for an international career.

Extended International Experience

You can opt for an extension to your international

experience. More than an exchange semester you

can have a double exchange semester.

This program allows you to spend the fi rst year

at CATÓLICA-LISBON and during the second year,

you can choose two schools, one during each semester.

What is a Double Degree?A Double Degree is a joint program that allows you to:

> Study at two top business and economic schools> Receive two diplomas, one from each University> Create a differentiating factor in your CV> Spend the fi rst academic year at CATÓLICA-LISBON and the second academic year at a partner School> Both programs are taught in english

Who Can Apply?> Candidates with an exceptional curriculum> Candidates previously admitted to CATÓLICA-LISBON Master Programs> Candidates with strong international orientation

Requirements> Admission decisions have to be confi rmed by both institutions> The Double Degree Programs are only available for the September intake and during the fi rst round of applications> Candidates must apply and be admitted to the CATÓLICA-LISBON s Master Program fi rst> In addition to the statement of purpose for the Master Program, candidates must include a motivation letter to the admissions committee from both Schools> After admission to the Master Program, the admissions committee will pre-select the candidates for the Double Degree> The pre-selected candidates may have an interview with both schools. This interviews will take place in May/June, at CATÓLICA-LISBON’s campus> After the interviews, admitted students will be required to complete the application process for the University where they will complete the second degree> Admitted students are required to achieve an average of at least 14/20 during their fi rst year at CATÓLICA-LISBON in order to complete the Double Degree Program> Each Double Degree has its specifi c requirements

Funding your Master Program

Católica Top+ is a scholarship program for Economics and Business Administration students with an outstanding academic record.

Implemented by CATÓLICA-LISBON, this program allows high-potential students to complete their Master with a partial waiver of tuition fees.

We encourage outstanding students to apply for these scholarships; especially those that have completed their first cycle degree at the top of their classes [for example, average final grades of 77,5% or above].
