MORNING PRAYER FOR ORDINARY TIME OPENING SENTENCES 

 O Lord, open my lips.

And my mouth shall proclaim your praise.

Glory to the holy

and life-giving Trinity, One God:

as it was in the beginning, is now,

and will be forever. Amen. Alleluia!

The glory of God fills the whole earth: *

The Lord is the rock of our salvation: *

Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays  New every morning are the mercies of God: * 

O come, let us worship.

 After Psalm 95, this prayer may be said.

O Sovereign God, from the caverns of the earth to the

heights of the hills, all creation proclaims your glory. Let 

us join the song of praise, that we may live this day 

rejoicing in all your works, through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

or, after Psalm 100 

Lord, you alone are God, and we belong to you. Accept theoffering of our worship, that every race and nation may 

enter your courts, praising you in song; through Jesus

help, mercy, and comfort:
