What emotional impact do you want your filming do have upon the reader? How?

My music video is going to cover the topic of adolescent cyber bullying. This is a message I believe might emotionally impact an adolescent audience because many young people have experienced some kind of bullying, especially cyber. I hope this video will inform young people as well as convey the message that one can still ‘fight’ through it.

What personnel do you need? Who are you going to film?

I am using two female adolescent students from the performing arts course who have volunteered to be part of the video.

What props will you need?

I will need a computer and a phone mainly for the cyber bullying aspect of the video. I will need other props such as the bedroom set-up for the set in the bedroom. I will also need some kickboxing gloves or something similar for the performance part of the video to show the ‘fighting’ aspect.

How are you going to emphasise colour?

I have chosen to use dull colours for majority of the video but then use colour for the end to show that life isn’t so bad and in the end you can be happy. Therefore I am going to emphasise the colour usage in a way that it is trying to covey the purpose and topic; cyberbullying.

Have you briefed your personnel/models?

I have currently briefed my models so they are informed of what kind of shots I need, how long it might take and the type of things they will be doing performance wise. They are also informed on what they need to wear.

What lighting will you need? Any other equipment?

The lighting I will need within my video is going to be mixed as I plan to use both a white backdrop and a black backdrop for my performance. Other lighting will most likely be natural lighting.

Where will you shoot? Will you need a backdrop?

I plan to use the photography studio which includes the different coloured backdrops include a black one and a white one in which I plan to use in my own video.

Make-up? Costume?

The makeup and costumes will remain casual and I believe this will be simply achieved.
