Removing the Battery Door
1. Ensure the phoneis powered off.
2. Slide the releasebutton forwarduntil it releasesthe battery door.Note: If the release button doesnot slide forward to release thebattery door, rotate the circularpiece in the center of the releasebutton to unlock it.
Turning the Phone On and Off
To turn the phone on:
• Press and hold the On/Off button until a set of icons appears on the display. Thephone will read that it is in a Ready mode and display the Southern LINC brandname
• The LED indicator will display one of the four lights
• Flashing Red- Your phone is registering to the network
• Solid Red- No service, your phone can not sign on to the network, call
Customer Support Flashing Green- In service, your phone is ready to use
• Solid Green- in use, your phone is currently in use
To turn the phone off:• Press and hold the On/Off button until the message reads “Powering Off”

2. Press while Add New Contact is highlighted
3. Name will be highlighted. Start typing the name.
4. Arrow down to Mobile using the and keys. Then arrow sideto side until you see the LINC ID.
5. Arrow down to # using the and keys. Type in the number.
6. Press
7. Press the button under the word Save
