Most Critical Part. The future of your claims depend on it! You can incorporate non essential material by reference, you can even be your own lexicographer, but the specification (description) of your invention must contain exact terms, be clear, concise and in such a manner as to enable any person skilled in the art to make and use it. Drawings are part of the specification and the best mode of carrying out your invention must be disclosed in your initial patent application or it will be considered new matter if added at a later date without sufficient initial support in your invention description.
