RESPECT

What is respect? Respect is an attitude of an admiration or esteem. It also is our ability to empathize with another human

being. It is the first positive step in building a relationship

and relationships are central to conflict transformation.

OBJECTIVES To understand the problem of disciplines about the

students. To apply moral theory toward the situations. To raise public that non-respect to teacher is bad habit. To know the important of respect between student and

teacher. To know the what is the attitude need in a successful

and good student.

SUMMARY OF VIDEO This video is talking about the students do not

respect the lecturer during the class nowadays. They did not respect the lecturer and just do their

own things such as sleeping, chatting. They also came late to class and skip the class.

Students getting terrible and they are not concentrate on their studies because got too many entertainment at outside there. Perhaps the most important factor is their parents didn’t take good care them and just let them to indulge. Some o f them are involved in various criminal activities and damage the reputation of family, more seriously their future can simply destroy by them. The way to overcome is improve the school rules and try to communicate to each student through counseling. Attitude should be in successful person is we need to patient and respect each other. My opinion for all of this is many teenagers nowadays need some attention from their friends and family .

I think student is lack of attention. If the student is rude, then other student who want to study couldn’t concentrate in their studies. To overcome this method, the teachers and parent should collaborate. To give more discipline to this child so that he won’t be so rude again to lecturer. Well, the attitude that should be in a successful person is he has to be hardworking and be polite. He must be very grateful for whatever he receive from the lecturer

Student will not perform very well in their studies. Teacher is not experience in teaching and as well lack of knowledge. Teacher must treat students fairly and show that are caring including concern about them. Mostly, punctual, honest, trustworthy and reliable.

The factor why student is not giving respect to lecturer because student is lack of discipline. The effect are like when one student is start not respect to lecturer .everybody is start doing same thing, then the whole class will be noisy. the way to overcome is like the lecturer, he should be more strict. He should punish the student who didn't respect them like do not playing attention to the class. They can give some minor punishment to them. The kind of attitude that need in a person to be successful. They have to be respect and grateful to lecturer because lecturer is the one who educating them and they also should be hardworking. In my opinion, we should always respect others who always provide knowledge and education.

Attention must have given to a student’s behaviour such as they must have self-control.

Social morality theory The students follow what their friends and classmates do and not based own on self-interest.

Psychological egoism The students always act in their own self-interest and do what they like to do.

A person must have enough moral knowledge to differentiate the bad and the good.

Consequentialist The students came to class is not want to gain knowledge but they only came to take attendance.

Rule utilitarianism Students did not follow the rule and they only do what they like to do such as skip class.

Why students did not respect lecturer? Family problem

Their parents did not educate their children well and teach them important of respect.

Parent should always care their children’s attitudes and know what their children do.

They influenced by their friends and classmates.

They just follow what they do no matter right or wrong.

Individual problem

They do not interested about the lectures.

Therefore, they do not care what the lecturer teach.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, we knew that many students did not respect lecturer nowadays.

Actually, we do not agree students did not respect lecturer because when lecturer was teaching, we must pay attentions listen and should not find any excuses to skip class.

Respect allows ones to build a good relationship and can lead a positive change.

SELF-EVALUATION

We used 1 weeks to finished this assignment. In this video assignment, we realized that many

students do not like to respect lecturer even thought they know non-respect is a bad habits.

We felt that family education also important for student to be respect in class.
