Moodle 2.0: Configure the Messages Block

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and locate

Add A Block and click on the up & down arrow

Scroll down and click on Messages

Click the configuration icon (the hand with the pen)

Chose he page contexts where the block appears

Select the page types where the block will be displayed

Indicate which side of the page the block will be located on, and the position it will appear (-10 is first

and 10 is last)Then click Save changes

What does it mean?

In this instance, the Messages Block will appear on the main page of the course, the second option is irrelevant because of my first selection, it will appear on the right side of the page, in the first spot (at the top).
