An elderly woman and her 16 year old daughter live in this home.

A home that has:No PowerNo Running WaterNo Bathroom or KitchenDirt floorsA roof held together by discarded tires.

A home filled with meager belongings.

A single room full of limited possessions.

An unfinished rug/blanket hangs on a loom along the north wall, barely visible.

Furnishing acquired from others fill the space inside.

This home has only a dirt floor.

The spaces between the ceiling boards are wide enough to allow for rain, snow & dust to easily enter.

Notice the walls which are made from standing posts.

As is tradition, each octagon is built with the door facing east.

The wood stove sits in the center of the room to meet traditional needs.
