this year for spring break we will host a variety of specialty activities daily designed for all ages to engage and connect with one another. days will play host to wildlife presentations, parties at the 3-story treehouse, sessions with a sailor where guests will learn skills needed for life on the water and much more. Movie nights, trivia, croquet and bocce tournaments all provide gathering points for each evening.

Moreland oySter roaSt and lowcountry Boil

Saturday, March 31, 6 – 9 pm

With its five-story treehouse and expansive views of the May river, Oyster roasts at Moreland are a holiday tradition. We invite you to become a part of the party. Our chefs will cook up oysters along with a lowcountry boil and a host of other sides and fixins.

eaSter egg Hunt & party on tHe Village green

Sunday, April 1, 9 – 11 am Children Ages 12 and under

easter celebration would not be complete without a traditional easter egg hunt. We will kick off our festive celebration with lively music, fun games, and a petting zoo. at 10 am the egg hunting will commence, until every last egg is found!

* 10 - 11 am Sidewalk Chalk Art at the Tree House your chance to explore your creative side and contribute to a sidewalk chalk work of art.

* 3:30 - 4:30 pm Sundae Social in the River House a sweet treat on a warm day. stop by the river house lobby and create the sundae of your dreams. don’t forget the cherry on top. $12/Guest

4:30 - 6:30 pm Bocce Bonanza Join the fun at Wilson lawn & racquet club. bocce bonanza (and bubbles) will be a family friendly competition that’s fun for all ages and skill levels. We will have bubbles for kids (in the air) and adults (in a glass) to add to the atmosphere! $15/Guest

Monday 10 - 11 am Sessions with a Sailor at Wilson Landing all aboard Grace, our antique yacht, with our captains and crew for a tour and tales. grace will stay docked as our team shows you the ropes – literally they are going to show you how to tie nautical knots – and share fun tales of seafaring adventures! this is an event for all ages.

2 - 3 pm Kite Decorating & Flying at the Sunrise Lawn decorate a kite and watch it fly! $10/Guest

6:30 – 8 pm Family Fishing Tournament at the Canoe Club Dock Join our captains and crew for a fishing tournament. We will be fishing the fresh water lagoon behind the canoe club. Join us beginning at 6:30 pm for basic instruction and rules for the tournament. Winners by fish species and weight. We will be fishing for bream and bass. bring your own equipment or some will be provided for you. this is an event for all ages!

tueSday 10 - 11 am Learning at Longfield Visit with and learn how to care for some of our most regal residents, our equine friends, see the stables, the paddocks and arenas where they work and play.

2 - 3 pm Make a Car for the Drive-in Movie on the Sunrise Lawn create your own ride for this evening’s drive-in movie. $10/Guest

* 8 pm Outdoor Movie Night on the Village Green gather the family for a “drive-in” movie night. Our food truck, big carol, will be on site for snacks and concessions.

wedneSday 10 - 11 am Archery at Palmetto Bluff Shooting Club an instructor will guide participants through a safety talk and demonstrate the basics of archery before enjoying some target practice. each participant will be given a proper bow fitting. Ages 6 and up. $65/Guest

2 - 3 pm Tie Dye at the Canoe Club Lawn choose your favorite pattern and create your unique tie dye t-shirt $10/Guest

4:30 - 6 pm Family Tennis Round Robin Join us at Wilson lawn & racquet club for a fun-filled evening of tennis the entire family can enjoy! all ages and levels are welcome.

tHurSday 10 - 11 am Oyster Shell Decorating at Canoe Club Lawn create a treasure to take with you and perhaps even leave a little something behind. shells will be decorated and can be placed around the property for others to find. $10/Guest

2 - 3 pm Wildlife Presentation at the Moreland Conservancy Classroom head outside with the palmetto bluff conservancy team for an ‘only at palmetto bluff’ nature excursion. We might cast a line or explore the nature trails around Moreland Village. $5/Guest

8 pm Trivia in the Game Room at Moreland Village gather your team and put on your thinking caps. Fun for all ages.

Friday 10 - 11 am Kid’s Air Rifle at the Shooting Club kids ages 6-11 will be hosted by an instructor who will guide them through a safety talk, and then on to the shooting benches where they’ll get to shoot at targets in a carefully controlled, and tons-of-fun setting. it’s a great introduction to marksmanship. $65/Guest

* 2 - 3 pm Have a Ball (Gameday) on the Village Green explore a new sport each week with the recreation team.

6 - 10 pm Kid’s Night Out at Paintbox children ages 5-12 years old may join us in paintbox for an evening of fun and dinner. $70/Guest

8 - 9 pm Bingo in the River Room easy to learn and fun to play! be the first to shout bingO and claim your prize.

Saturday* 11 am - 2 pm Party at the Tree House play the day away enjoying the special addition of a bounce house, lawn games and a special surprise every week at the tree house. (saturday, March 31 this will take place on the Village green.)

6 - 10 pm Kid’s Night Out at Paintbox children ages 5-12 years old may join us in paintbox for an evening of fun and dinner. $70/Guest

* 5 - 9 pm Night Light Pool Party Join us at the inn pool for fun activities with glow sticks, diving games, beach balls and more. Fore and aft will be serving up cocktails and food for the perfect poolside evening. (no pool party on saturday, March 31.)

11 am - 1 pm Easter Tennis Round Robin at the Wilson Lawn & Racquet Club serve it, smash it, Win it, love it. all tennis players are invited to join our tennis professional team for two hours of friendly competition and fun in a round robin event at Wlrc.
