Online Re-Registration

Please be looking for an e-mail in the coming weeks

regarding how to re-register your student for the 2013-14

School Year at SBA. Like last year, this process will be

completed online.

SBA NCAA Signing Day

We will be celebrating all of our Student Athletes who have

signed or are signing their letter of intent to play on the

collegiate level next season on February 6th after school.

This event is for any athlete who has signed or is signing

during the winter season (not just for winter athletes). For

Lost & Found Lost and Found items will be placed in the front Foyer on

Monday. Please tell your student to come look for anything

that may be missing. At the end of the week, whatever items

are remaining will be donated to charity.

St. Benedict Crossroads Concert John Angotti: Songs of Life

(Contemporary Christian Music) Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 6:30pm

in the SBA Theater

Memphian, John Angotti is acknowledged as one of today’s

most exciting Christian song writers and vocalists. He has

performed throughout the world, including in front the Pope.

Angotti will be preceded by the St. Benedict Songwriters,

also, with their contemporary Christian music.

Honors/AP and Elective Fairs There will be an Honors/AP Fair on February 26th at 6:30pm

in the dining hall. This is an opportunity for students and

their parents to see all of the Honors/AP classes that will be

available for next year.

There will also be an Elective Fair on February 27th during

all three lunches in the dining hall for students to explore the

many elective options that will be available to them next

year.

Track & Field Meeting

There will be a Track & Field Parent meeting on

Wednesday, February 6th, at 7:00pm in the DLC.

Cheerleader Show Night

The St. Benedict Varsity Cheerleaders will have a Show

Night on Wednesday at 7:30pm in the Dining Hall. Please

come and show your support for our cheerleaders as they

prepare for their competition at nationals in Orlando, FL

Pitner Driving School

Pitner Driving School is accepting applications for their

2/25-3/8 class from 3-6 PM. Applications are available with

freshman counselor, Mr. Collins (collinsc@sbaeagles.org)

NEWS FROM HOME AND SCHOOL

Thank you to Beth Jackson, Angie Valadie, Cynthia Shah and their committee members for the great job for the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. The teachers and staff were so thrilled and VERY APPRECIATIVE of the wonderful way you made them feel so special. For all of our parents who sent in donations or volunteered time to set up for, work or clean up after the luncheon, our sincere THANKS!! We couldn’t have done it without you. The teachers and staff really enjoy this day each year and it was another great SUCCESS. The Annual Fashion Show benefiting the Annual Fund is quickly approaching. We are in great need of donations for the baskets. Take a look at the list of most needed items this week in Monday Mail. Reserve your table by this Friday, Feb 8th and the table receives a bottle of wine. We hope you will help us out with the event by donating or volunteering.
