To all our SBA Families –
On behalf of everyone here at St. Benedict at Auburndale, we want to wish all our families (those of our students and those of our staff) a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. On occasion, we find ourselves face-to-face with the realization that we have lived a fair amount of our lives while taking God’s day-to-day gifts for granted. Be it the air that we breathe or the food that we eat, or the heat in our homes and the gas in our cars. We just forget. We’re not ungrateful to the Source of all Goodness. It’s just that life takes over and our prayers become reserved for the things we need, not so much the things that we have. The same is true for the people in our lives. How often we forget them! All of you are a daily part of our lives … a part that we often overlook. So please know that we give thanks for all you have done for us, the sacrifices you’ve made, the extra effort you’ve given. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
