MOIST CHOCOLATE
BROWNIES
SERVES: 12 people (large pieces)
PREP TIME: 20 min
COOK TIME: 45–60 min
INGREDIENTS:
• 375 g butter, melted• 400 g dark chocolate• 6 eggs• 675 g sugar• 3 tsp vanilla• 1 cup cake flour• 1/2 cup cocoa • 1/2 tsp salt
METHOD:
1. Preheat oven to 160°C.2. Melt butter and chocolate over a double boiler.3. In a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream the eggs, sugar and vanilla.4. Sift the flour, cocoa and salt.5. Add the melted chocolate mix to the creamed egg mixture.6. Add the sifted flour mix to the chocolate egg mixture and mix to combine.7. Pour the batter in a greased baking tray and bake at 160°C for 45 minutes.8. Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before removing from the baking tray and cutting into portions.9. Can be served hot or cold and can also be frozen for later use.
