Whether you live in the city and are looking for a sustainable urban solution, or you reside in country and coastal areas, we have a range of homes to suit your every need.
Our homes are built at our 12,000 square metre manufacturing facility in Stratford Victoria and then transported to your site anywhere in Victoria or NSW. Our advanced building method allows for reduced wastage and stringent supervision, assuring your new home passes all quality standards and exceeds your expectations.
At Anchor Homes, our unique building solutions are suitable for a wide variety of housing projects. Our technology allows buildings to be delivered in up to half the time of traditional building methods achieving signi cant cost savings and a higher quality build nish.
Our homes are built using building modules. Our standard design range includes homes ranging from one to four modules. However, we are not limited to this. Many of our clients choose to design their own home or customise one of our designs. This often means many of our homes are upwards of four modules. Modules are built on an engineered sub oor system with timber wall and roof construction. The modules are constructed with signi cant additional structural components designed to give each module more strength to counter the additional stresses imposed on the modules during transport. This in turn means that once on site, the bracing qualities of our homes are far superior to that of traditional construction.

In 2005 Anchor Homes was established to play an important role in the rapidly expanding modular home market. Since Anchor Homes was founded in 2005, the company has built over 300 homes across Victoria and Southern NSW, and continues to be leaders in the market with exceptionally well designed, innovative and sustainable modular homes.

At Anchor Homes we are passionate about sustainability and acknowledge our responsibility to minimise impact on the environment during construction. With a fast-increasing number in our population who recognise the bene ts of sustainable living, we are set to provide eco-friendly homes by using technology and smart design. The very basis of our prefabricated, o -site construction method means that the direct impact to your site is minimised immensely. With only the last few weeks of our building process taking place on site, the impact to your land is reduced by up to 90%.
The rst step to bringing your new home to life is in the design stage. Whether we design your home from scratch or use a design from our range, we will spend time to carefully assess your site to ensure the orientation of your home makes the most of natural lighting and passive solar energy. Our design professionals will make suggestions for home orientation and design changes to create site speci c cross- ow ventilation, take advantage of natural lighting, and incorporate energy e cient principles to the home. We will carefully analyse the use of insulation products and thermally e cient windows to meet the minimum 6-Star Energy Rating. Many of our clients choose to increase the 6-Star rating of their homes, and with the help of our energy rating consultant this can be achieved. Other products can be used to increase the energy rating of our homes including solar hot-water systems, o -grid solar power systems, water-saving plumbing ttings, water tank installation.
The factory environment in which our homes are built allows us to retain all excess materials, to be used on our next project. Our footing & sub oor design methodology also lowers our environmental footprint, due to the reduced penetrations into the ground.
An environmentally-friendly approach is adopted when sourcing the building products we use in our homes. Plantation timber from sustainable sources is standard in all our homes and recycled timber is used in some instances. Many other options are available to our clients including commonly used low VOC paints.

FROM CONCEPT TO COMPLETION
You review Anchor Homes design range. If possible, a visit to our Display Homes is bene cial. Here you can speak with Anchor Homes sta regarding your individual requirements and we can issue you with pricing estimates. Once decided on a home design, Anchor Homes will provide you with a detailed estimate and an options list.
Once you have decided you would like to proceed with a new Anchor Home, one of our team will come and do a detailed site inspection. At this stage you may enter into a pre-contract agreement and pay an initial deposit for preparation work including working drawings, energy rating and soil report, allowing you to enter a xed price contract. This amount is then deducted from your deposit upon signing the building contract.
Once working drawings are complete, and both you and Anchor Homes are happy with the design, all speci cations and inclusions are nalised, and a building contract is prepared and signed. Anchor Homes lodges the necessary paperwork with the building surveyor to obtain a building permit. Often, a planning permit is also required from the shire, and Anchor Homes can help you through the process to get this paperwork lodged if needed.
Once relevant permits are issued, the construction phase starts at Anchor Homes’ premises. This usually takes between 8 - 10 weeks. You are invited to come and inspect at regular intervals, to watch your new home take shape. Once this phase is complete, you are invited to come and make a nal inspection before delivery.
Your new home is then delivered to site and installed on prepared foundations. After delivery, decks, carports and other optional extras are installed. Anchor Homes normally arranges the connections to services and the installation of oor and window coverings. Together, we make a nal inspection of the home to check all details are completed to your satisfaction. Then the home is handed over to you along with the Certi cate of Occupancy.
Your new home is now ready to move into for many years of enjoyment!

FAÇADE OPTIONS
The always popular gable façade incorporates a traditional gable roo ine. A verandah as shown often adds character to any gable façade, while a portico and double verandah posts gives that special Australian touch.
The dutch gable façade is more often used to add character to larger homes, where the roo ine tends to be monotonous. It is commonly combined with traditional gables to create a uniquely charming family home.

The Skillion façade is generally used, but not limited to our single module homes such as the ‘Suburban’ and ‘Brooklyn’ designs. The raked ceiling and high narrow windows in the living areas add a degree of space, while the optional verandah provides the perfect retreat for a sunny afternoon.

The split-skillion façade is iconic to Anchor Homes and consistently a bestseller. It is generally used in conjunction with our Shoreham series. High windows in the living, meals and kitchen areas open up each room and add to the airy atmosphere, while the high roof allows for a soaring ceiling, adding light and space and bringing a feeling of size and opulence.
The Cubehaus façade is the latest addition to our range. This European inspired façade is now used with many of our designs to create a stunning architectural statement. The at roo ine also allows for 9ft ceilings, not usually possible with modular homes.
