Further support: To improve STUDENT score, he needs to be immersed in wide range of vocabulary

motivations, after reading.

STUDENT has a real flair for Verbal Reasoning and word puzzles in general. His word building and

word coding is strong. He can identify words within words, when presented phonetically.

His main area for improvement is word meanings. STUDENT needs to widen his vocabulary and

explore new words and their meanings. A word a day or reading more difficult material will

encourage this. STUDENT score after 50 minutes was 65/78 (83%) – all questions answered after

the time allowed, were correct.

identify a pattern rule, which is coded by a letter.

His main area for improvement is identifying patterns and having the ability to predict what will

happen next in a sequence – linear and as part of a grid. He also needs support with identifying how

shapes are similar, taking into consideration number of sides, rotation, reflection and shading.
