MLP-6 Phototherapy & Laser System The MLP-6 is the latest version of the MLP range of phototherapy & laser control units. The control unit has a digital display for the treatment timer and is capable of driving a range of standard and custom made phototherapy and laser heads. It offers pulse rates of 10, 100, 500 & 1000 Hz, all with a duty cycle of 80% so that the delivered energy is the same at all pulse rates. The digital treatment timer offers treatment times from 1 – 5 minutes in 1 minute steps. The internal NiMH battery pack has twice the capacity of the sealed lead acid battery used in earlier units. This provides longer operating times between charges, is lighter and will have a longer life. The internal battery charging control circuit charges the battery from an external 9 or 12 volt DC plug top power supply/charger. Battery charging is controlled by an internal charge regulator so the batteries can be charged from any low voltage DC source including the 12 volt supply available in a car.

Large LED Cluster heads have a total output of 5 Watts, an irradiated area of 12cm2 & power density of 400mW/cm

The MLP-6 control unit is supplied with carrying bag and a mains battery charger.
