Global Business Solutions is the division that provides a range of products and services to in the B2B arena, providing companies with payment solutions and a diverse set of products to allow them to take payments. Main responsibilities during this period • Management of a wide range of portfolios, programmes and projects totaling up to £20M per

Project was delivered in 8 weeks from design to implementation.

• Design and implementation of a new data centre environment deployed “off-site” at a hosting centre. This allowed the business to grow the infrastructure to meet the business expansion despite the lack of internal space. Project achieved within budget and with minimal disruption to end user services.

• Met all targets for service level and key performance indicators over the reporting period, improved results in 3 consectutive years. Achieved in line with a reduction in the support cost per user, and per server by over 10% to below industry

• Defined a set of critical service entities and operating level performance metrics that increased overall service up-time by 25%

• Complete group-wide security review, covering physical and logical security – this project raised the awareness of security within the business and transformed the understanding of information security.

• Design and implementation of a number of security projects including: resiliant firewalls, remote VPN user access for home working, intrusion detection and prevention.
