Introduction This document describes the procedure to manually Configure Mitel MiVoice Conference unit

to connect to MiCloud Office 4.6.

MiVoice Conference release requirement Mitel MiVoice Conference release 2.1 SP6 (2.1.6.4) is the minimum release require to

connect to MiCloud Office 4.6.

To check release running on MiVoice Conference

To upgrade firmware to release 2.1.6.4, please refer to Mitel Connect partner portal under

eDocs : MiVoice Conference Administrator Guide R2.1SP6

Assigne MiVoice Conference line to User from MiCloud

Office Partner Portal

From MiCloud Office User account, Under “Personal Phones” Enable and configure “3rd party

SIP phone” for the user. Set device to “Appear as Desk phone” to fit with provisioned routing

rules.

Configure a user line on the MiVoice Conference phone

from phone's UI

1. On the phone, press the menu key (second from left).

2. Select Settings

3. Select Advanced.

4. You must enter your password while logging on (admin as password for default configuration).

5. Select System Settings

6. Select SIP Settings.

a. 'server address' = <organisation domain>, in the example retail-fr.mco

b. 'user name' = device.<user name>, in the example "device.essential.user1". Note, only 3rd party user, enabled via the service node user edit page, can be used. 'logon name' (will automatically be filled in with the user name)

c. login password = <enter the 3rd party password for device.<user name>>

d. transport = TLS . Only check TLS.

e. SRTP mode = SRTP only

f. proxy server address = office.micloud.solutions:5061

g. Registration time out = 3600 (seconds). Default is 300 seconds which is unnecessary short.

h. keep alive interval = 60 (seconds).

MiVoice Conference phone should then connect to MiCloud Office. If it doesn’t, reboot

MiVoice Conference to reload full configuration.
