• To carry out the sterilization cum vaccination programme to control the population of stray dogs

A.B.C. Programme

• Stray dogs caught by BMC/volunteers

• Sterilization at kennel

• Post operative care : 7-10 days

• Immunization against rabies

• Mass immunization of stray dogs in A,B,C, D, G(South) wards and suburbs.

• Sterilization per dog – Rs 532

• Monthly Operating Costs – Rs 1.25 Lakhs

• Van to transport dogs for sterilization – 3 Lakhs +1.2 Lakhs per annum

• Running Costs of ABC programme- 15 Lakhs• Expansion of Mahalakshmi Centre – 12 Lakhs• Animal Help line – 4 Lakhs per annum• Sponsorship of Food and Medicines –5.8 Lakhs

per annum• First-Aid Programme – 60000 per annum• New Centres
