If you see you can not come after you pay, you may sell your spot to someone else in your agegroup if you get it approved through us first. Refunds or credits are not given for failture to show to the pageant for any reason due to the limiting ofcontestants in each divison. The pageant reserves the right to change date and/or location if problems arise with venue, weather or public safety issues.

$35.00 Optional Miss Magnolia State Preliminary Pageant (Optional) By entering the Optional Preliminary Pageant part,you will be eligible to receive a title to compete in September of 2022 at the Little Miss Magnolia State Pageant finals for ages0-11 in Vicksburg OR the Miss Magnolia State Pageant in November 2022 for ages 12-up single, never married. Of course Mrs. contestantsshould be currently married. By entering the preliminary pageant, if you win a title, you will be required to attend the state finals as well. Youmay view the state paperwork at www.missmagnoliastate.com under “applications” under September or November to be sure you want tocompete.

The pageant will be held at the Lander’s Center located at 4560Venture Drive, Southaven, MS 38671. We will break thepageant into two for social distancing. Ages 0-8 will be at11 a.m. Registration for 0-8 will be from 9:45 to 10:30 a.m.Then ages 9 and up will be at 3:00 p.m. with registration from 1:45 to2:30 p.m. Kids first in case they are going trick-or-treating that night.

Audience could still have to wear masks, please bring one just incase. Due to social distancing and space, we can only accept thefirst 8 contestants in each division. Make sure you enter asap toreserve your spot. Check Facebook or email us to make sure thereare spots left. We will update Facebook once entries start coming in.Search “Your Hometown Mississippi Pageants” or under “ChrisShannon” on Facebook.

Once you register, you may practice. There will be a group line upAFTER each age group competes for the side awards. Contestantsare not judged on modeling. Just beauty, personality/projection andoverall impression.

Please come as ready as you can. Make sure hair and make up is done before you get to the pageant. Youmay slip your dress on at the pageant. This pageant is just a FUN pageant. The winners will not make appearancesat our state pageants. Again this is just a FUN pageant.

Winners of each of the age divisions will receive the beautiful crown listed on front cover, banner and gift. Allalternates as well as EVERY contestant in the pageant will receive beautiful crown and gift. Yes you heard thatright, EVERYONE gets a rhinestone crown and gift! Our participation crowns are over 5 inches tall.

We will offer a $20 Overall Package. By entering this overall package, you or your child will be eligible for theAge Group Fashion Award, Age Group Photogenic Award, Overall Fashion Award and Overall Photogenic Award.This package also makes your contestant eligible for prettiest eyes, hair and smile in each group.

OVERALL PHOTOGENIC - Winner receives large crown and monogrammed banner (Only one photo percontestant and must be turned in at registration with name and age group on the back). One winner ages0-8, One winner ages 9-up.

There is only one phase of competition and that’s the on stage Beauty Competition - Contestants ages 0-8 areNOT allowed to wear national level glitz pageant dresses. Our contestants ages 8 and under must wear Sunday

dresses, flower girl dresses, party or even peacock dresses. A dress will not help you win this pageant onlythe fashion award. Absolutely no glitzed out pageant dresses for ages 8 and

under. Of course our girls ages 9 and up WILL wear pageant dresses orformals. Again do NOT wear glitzed pageant dresses for ages 0-8. Weare looking for Sunday or party dresses or outfits for ages 0-8 and formalwear for ages 9 and up. If you question your outfit, you can send an emailto the director. There is a difference in a sequined dress from Dillards andcustom glitz pageant dress. Hairpieces and fake teeth are NOT allowedat this pageant for ages 0-8. It is the parents choice for makeupapplication. Girls have been disqualified for wearing fake hair at thepageant. If you are disqualifed for breaking the rules, no refunds will begiven. Don’t chance it! Just let your daughter be her adorable self.

Tickets will be sold at the door for family and friends who want to comecheer on their favorite contestants. Tickets are $10 per person for adultsand kids. Kids 3 and under will be admitted free. PARENTS MUST PAY.Only contestants will be admitted free. All fees are non-fundable and non-transferable if contestants fail to show for the pageant or decides towithdraw. We make sure all kids go home with awards and goodies!!!

Everyone receives this 5 inch crown forcompeting! They will be blue, green & purple!

Our basic pageant IS NOT a contract pageant. You may enter the pageant for a day of fun and whenit’s over, that was that. If you want this pageant to serve as your preliminary pageant to attend ourstate pageant finals, you would need to enter the Optional $35 Miss Magnolia State PreliminaryPageant part of the pageant in addition to the regular pageant. This is ONLY for the contestants thatwish to go on to compete at the state pageant. To read over the state rules and fees, go towww.missmagnoliastate.com and click under “applications”. Then scroll to either September forages 0-11 or November for ages 12 and up. Also you will need to read the rules for the state pageantif you decide to enter this optional category to make sure you qualify. Contestants should have neverbeen married or had children to compete at Miss Magnolia State except for our Mrs. division ofcourse. Mrs. contestants must be currently married. Again these are just the rules for the MissMagnolia State Pageant.

This is a pretty good deal for the kids and parents that like to sellextra tickets to win extra awards! Anyone selling 500 donation tick-ets which is $250, will get their $75 entry paid, $20 Optional Pack-age paid and receive a ticket sales crown and a 3 foot tall trophy!The ONE contestant that sell the MOST tickets from the entire pag-eant, will be crowned the People’s Choice Queen. The Overall TicketSales winner will also win a monogrammed banner that says People’sChoice winner and much larger crown. WOW!! Tickets are on thenext page to make copies of. Ticket sales are just optional. You donot have to do them at all. Some kids just love to try to win extra

awards that way so we are offering itfor those that do! We will have prizesthat we will draw for from all the ticketssold. Prizes will be announced at thepageant. If several people go well andbeyond over the 500 tickets trying to bethe People’s Choice Winner, we ofcourse, will present them with someextra awards too if they don’t win theOverall People’s Choice Grand Prize.Ticket Total must be turned in one weekbefore the pageant.
