Costume- Shirt

I chose a chequered shirt for the main character, due to it being a stereotypical trait of the Indie Genre. The choice of colour was due to my own personal preference as I thought it would be suiting to the title and the facts that he was going to interact amongst others.

Costume- Jeans

Similar to the Shirt, Jeans are a stereotypical trait for costume of the Indie genre and being considerably smart jeans, they denote the fact that interactions with others is going to be made.

Costume- ShoesEven though the other two components of this selected attire are fairly smart, I chose to use plimsolls rather than shoes. The decision was made, primarily on the basis that most Indie artists are more associated with wearing plimsolls rather than smart shoes and I wanted to stick with characteristic codes and conventions for this instance.

Costume- Final Product

This was the outcome of the combination of clothing components.

In regards to the other actors’ (Alex and Hannah) attire, I instructed them to wear clothes that they would typically socialise in.

With the actors (Barmaid and Shopkeeper) that weren't informed prior to the day of the film, I assumed that they would be wearing their typical attire.

Props- Alarm Clock

The most significant prop utilised was the Alarm clock, which was present in the opening and closing scenes.

Make-upI kept the make-up to the minimum with Hannah; being the only actress/ actor actually wearing make-up. I instructed her to wear the normal amount she wears; as I know that it will be sufficient.
