Shutter speed is usually determined by the motion of the

subject. If you are compelled to use a fast shutter speed, 1/500

for example, set it on the shutter dial. The dial is coupled

to the meter and automatically adjusts the meter's l ight value

scale to coincide with the shutter speeds. In other words, the

meter will indicate correct aperture for any one of a variety

of shutter speeds.

Uslng the mlrror lock

The mi r ror lock but ton ( locater l near the sel f - t imer )i s fo r use w i th the 2 lmm super w i r le ang le accessory

lens. With th is lens, care must be taken so that the

camera mi r ro r cloes not touch the back of the lens.

Hence, by pressing the lock but ton pin and turning

the but ton r lown warr ls , the mirror wi l l lock in i rpermanent ly suspenr lecl posi t ion. \ ' iewing is possib le

wi th the use of an accessory f inc ler . The c l is tance

scale on the lens is usecl for focusing.

The mirror lock may also be usecl for cont inuous

photography of a subj ect where v iewing is not

necessary. To return the mirror to i ts normal posi t ion.
