Fill out the application of registration by typing , and put it inside paper file + (14) copies of the trademark that needed to be registered and put all inside envelope with one of the following sizes: (5×6) cm or (6×7) cm, and the trademark shall be on sticker papers. �e application shall be attached with the following:1. CD of trademark picture (4 ×4) cm, corresponding to (315×315) Pixel, with copy of registration application on Word Doc.2. Legal power of attorney related to the applicant that attested and translated upon the rules, with copy of valid trade license of registration agent, in case the application is submitted by agent of registering trademark.3. Translation from dictionary papers to all words of trademark if it is written in foreign language.Copy of valid trade license ( trade, professional, industrial , handicraft)Required fees: • Registration Application: AED 1000.• Announcement of Publication: AED 1000.• Final registration: AED 10000.

Should inform the applicant or its representative in writing about the reasons of reject, restrictions or required amendments. �e registrant or its representative may apply for grievance during as from the date of notifying the resolution, to trademarks commit-tee by submitting letter explaining reasons of grievance on the issued resolution to any customer service centers at ministries' offices with paying grievance fees.�e grievance submitted to trademarks committee shall be according to the following durations:• During (15) days as from the date of notifying him about the decision of objection.• During (30) days if the grievance was upon technical inspection.Challenge to decisions that issued by trademarks Committee before the Court should be according to the following periods: • During (60) days as from the date of notifying him about the decision if such decision is issued based on the decision of technical inspection.• During (30) days as from the date of notifying him about the decision if Committee's decision is issued based on objection.

Any concerned person may during 30 days of last announcement of publication whether in trademarks circular or any two local newspapers, submit written objection to administration Dept. of registering the trademark with paying objection fees. • �e administration shall notify the registrant who objects on the trademark by objection letter during 15 days as from the date of receiving the same by email or by hand.• �e registrant shall submit to the administration Dept. during 30 days as from the date of notifying him by written reply , otherwise he is deemed to be waived of its application• �en, the administration Dept. will determine session for hearing the statements of both parties in the objection subject, and issue its resolution whether to accept or refuse the registra-tion application or refuse the objection & continue in registration the procedures of objected application.• Any objected parties may apply for grievance on administration's resolution before trademarks committee during 15 days as from the date of knowing the settlement's resolution, by submitting letter explaining the reasons of grievance on the issued resolution to any customer service centers at ministries' offices with paying grievance fees.• Also, they have the right to challenge on committee's resolution before competent civil court during 30 days as from the date of knowing the resolution. Such challenge on committee's resolution to accept the trademarks registration, may not lead to discontinue registration procedures unless the competent court decided otherwise.
