The members of the Re-gional anti-Illegal Logging Task Force present during the meeting were DILg Regional Director Rene burdeos, PnP Regional Director gil Hitosis and officials from the Philip-pine army.

The regional task force also came up with a resolu-tion requesting the armed Forces of the Philippines (aFP) to include the detec-tion of illegal forest prod-ucts in the training of K9. another resolution was made by the regional task

force requesting the bureau of Customs to share their X-ray machines for the detection of illegal forest products in the port areas.

also present during the meeting were DEnR Re-gional Technical Director agustiloobsioma, Regional Director Rex monsanto of the mines and geosciences bureau with the Provincial and Community DEnR officers. a staff from the national task force was also present during the meeting.

meanwhile, the DEnR 10 also strengthened the

management, monitoring and control of various ports particularly on the shipment of illegal forest products. DEnR 10 personnel that were assigned at the Port Integrated Clearance office (PICo) shall be reshuffled every month. Forest officers with the support of volun-teers, communities and the local government units shall continue to patrol forest areas in the region as part of the campaign against illegal logging and timber poaching. The Philippine govern-ment’s efforts to transition the country’s economy to a “green” one receives a boost from the United nations as 50 high and middle-level managers from the Depart-ment of Environment and natural Resources (DEnR) and other government agen-cies have undergone train-ing on green growth.

Entitled “Training of Trainers on green growth,” the 3-day capacity building on november 12-14, this year, at the DEnR’s Social Hall, was co-organized by the Un ESCaP, the govern-ment of the United King-dom, the asian Institute of Technology (aIT), the asian Women’s network on gender and Develop-ment (aWngaD), and the DEnR.

DEnR Secretary Ra-mon J. P. Paje said that the United nations Economic and Social Commission for asia and the Pacific (Un ESCaP) has identi-fied officials of the DEnR, along with those from other government agencies, the academe and civil society organizations to undergo the training to “help them identify which tools and strategies are most innova-tive and cost-effective in promoting a low-carbon economy.”

DENR, other gov’t execs undergo training on “green growth”

“This training will fa-miliarize the government’s managers, from national down to the local levels, along with our partners from the academe and civil society, on coming up with strategies on making plans, policies and programs more resource efficient, environ-mentally sustainable, geared towards poverty reduction, and adaptive to climate change,” Paje explained.

Paje added that the training was also being organized as part of a series of activities for Southeast asian countries in support to the outcomes of the Un Conference on Sustainable Development, also known as the Rio+20, as well as the ministerial Confer-ences on Environment and Development for asia and the Pacific. The Un ESCaP would provide the technical expertise for the training sessions.

Human Resource man-agement Director Ric En-

riquez, DEnR focal person for the event, said that the training would include in-teractive methodologies such as e-learning courses that would allow partici-pants a different platform of learning while in their own workplace. The courses would provide participants continuous access to the green growth online E-Learning Facility, enabling them to become members of an online green growth community while interact-ing with other practitioners.

“ T h e p a r t i c i p a n t s learned on-site for the first three days, gain ad-ditional knowledge through e-learning over the next four weeks, and undergo final assessment for about a week,” he said.

Topics would cover en-vironmental tax and fiscal reform, sustainable infra-structure, the greening of business, low-carbon de-velopment strategies and means of implementation.

Enriquez added that 15 high level and technical policy-makers from the DEnR will also form a composite national team to facilitate and ensure the establishment of an online e-learning node in the DEnR, which could then be shared with other government agencies.

aside from the DEnR and the Da, participants will also come from the Departments of Energy, Interior and Local govern-ment, Transportation and Communication, Social Welfare and Development, and Health; from the na-tional Economic and De-velopment authority; Cli-mate Change Commission; Philippine Commission on Women; national Statisti-cal Coordination board; United States agency for International Development (USaID); the University of the Philippines; makati business Club, and others.

green growth refers to “a substantially feasible approach to sustainable economic development for the country to reduce pov-erty, achieve social progress, protect the environment and diminishing natural resources, and adapt and mitigate the impacts of a changing climate.” (DEnR website)

CLEAN AIT AND CLEAN surroundings are central in the roster of activities the Department of Environ-ment and natural Resources (DEnR) has lined up for the double celebration of november as “Environmen-tal awareness month” and “Clean air month.”

DEnR Secretary Ramon J. P. Paje said that activities slated for the nationwide celebrations will “ensure that the seed of environmentalism will be planted and nurtured and become a way of life for most, if not all, Filipinos.”

“Everyone needs to be aware of the impact of their actions because the success and failure of environmental programs and the overall condition of our environ-ment lie on small, personal acts that accumulate over time,” Paje said.

The activities will be spearheaded by the DEnR’s Environmental management bureau (Emb). most of the activities on environmental awareness center on cli-mate change and solid waste management (SWm). These will be highlighted by the launching of the Eco-Savers’ Program for elementary and high schools on november

around 50 top-level management representa-tives of the DEnR and other government agencies will undergo training on green growth, or economic growth through sustainable use of natural resources, at the Department of agriculture on november 12 and at the DEnR on november 13-14. The training of trainers is sponsored by the United nations Economic and Social Commission for asia and the Pacific (UnESCaP), the United Kingdom Foreign and Commonwealth office, and the asian Institute of Technology.

The Emb, through

the national Solid Waste management Commission (nSWmC), together with the Solid Waste association of the Philippines (SWaPP), will also hold the SWaPP Conference (SWaPPCon) 2012 to discuss the effec-tiveness of SWm by local government units (LgUs) in improving climate change adaptation and mitigation and disaster risk reduction. The event will be held on november 20-23 at the bay-view Hotel in manila.

SWm training or semi-nars are also scheduled for members of metro manila’s Sangguniang Kabataan on november 6-8, and for the provincial SWm boards in the Ilocos, Cordillera and Davao regions starting november 6, 20 and 26, respectively.

Senior educators will gather in a national assembly on environmental protection and management sponsored by the Emb and the Philip-pine association of Tertiary Level Educational Institu-tions in Environmental Pro-tection and management (PaTLEPam). The meet will be in Cebu City on november 21-22. (DEnR website)

Nearly 57 million seedlings have been raised by the De-partment of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and its partners by October this year, of which 83 percent -- or 47.2 million -- comprises of indigenous forest tree species.

DEnR Secretary Ramon J. P. Paje said the marked prominence given to Phil-ippine native species in the production of planting materials for the national greening Program (ngP) is “in pursuit of DEnR’s phased approach to a shift from use of exotic to indig-enous species.”

“We can now say with confidence that the ngP is now headstrong to give itself a truly Filipino char-acter,” Paje said, pointing to DEnR memorandum Circular 2012-01 which he issued in may that sets the course of the greening program towards the use of indigenous tree seedlings for its planting stock.

(bFI), also an ngP partner of the DEnR.

In addition to forest trees, a total of 4.1 million fruit-bearing trees were also

raised during the period by the DEnR (3.5 million) and the Department of ag-riculture (598,061), one of DEnR’s ngP key partners under the national Conver-gence Initiative along with the Department of agrarian Reform.

For ngP’s urban green-ing component, another 765,173 ornamental seed-lings were also raised for the period which included native species suitable for urban areas like acacia, agoho, alibangbang, arat-elis, ilang-ilang balitbitan, caballero and talisai. (DEnR website)

It’s about a man at the end of his life who’s proud of how he lived, even with all his mistakes, because he says, “I did it my way!” That song was so popular because it says how we all feel: I’m going to live my life my way and be my own boss! I’m not going to let anybody tell me how to live—not even my maker.

HEaDS up, art lovers. The bangko Sentral ng

Pilipinas (bSP) has part-nered with the metropolitan museum of manila in show-casing its latest collection of newly acquired artworks.

Its latest exhibit, “En-during Commitment: new acquisitions (2009-2012), the bSP art Collection,” presents 38 of its new paint-ings and works of sculpture.

“Representing estab-lished and emerging local artists, the exhibition is an engaging visual feast of the various expressions that may have come out in the last decade of the 20th century, and in recent years,” the metropolitan museum (mET) explained.

The exhibit will run until December 15, 2012 at the mET’s galeriya bangko Sentral.

ment” showcases some of the works of Filipino national artists, including arturo Luz, Jerry Elizalde navarro and benedicto Cabrera.

The exhibit also pres-ents the winners of the first Tanaw bSP art Competi-tion held in 2010 — gary Custodio (“The Rebuild-ers”), melvin Culaba (“Un-resolved”), and brave Singh (“Pagsabay sa Paghakbang ng ating mga Pangarap”).

Women artists are like-wise represented in the ex-hibit through the works of Phyllis Zaballero, Yasmin

Sison, geraldine Javier, Isa Lorenzo and maxine Syjuco.

Zaballero’s “Handaan” (2011) elaborates on fellow artist nunelucio alvarado’s take on the Filipino eating culture. While alvarado’s “Carinderia” (2009) features an intensely vibrant scene at a local eatery, Zaballero’s work shows a sumptuous display of festive treats and local celebratory dishes such as pancit and lechon.

an artwork by Rodel Tapaya, CCP artist awardee for 2012, is likewise includ-ed in the exhibit. Tapaya’s

painting, “The miracles of Lumawig,” is an earth-toned interpretation of the works of Lumawig of bontoc, one of the more enduring char-acters in indigenous creation myths.

according to the bSP’s monthly newsletter, The Central banker: “Compris-ing of conceptual, figurative, abstract, and hyper-realist art, (the paintings) are a fascinating exposition of the mental workings and motivation of the Filipino artist.”

The bSP art collection is a rich source of inspira-tion and pride for present and future generations of Filipinos, according to the metropolitan museum.

LET us be clear on this issue. The answer is a resounding no!

The other night during the law student debates featured on cable TV, one of the feature schools stu-dents who were tasked to win the debate no less from my alma mater pointed out using the Kennedy family in north america as the example. This got me thinking first about the Kennedy’s who reigned for close of over four decades.

While america today only employs approximately 6% or political dynasties there was a need to identify this families performance.

Should President John Fitzgerald survive the as-sassination in the 60’s considering the prolonged and unpopular war in Vietnam, would he and his family stay the popularity with the americans.

The war veterans today don’t seem to think so. For that matter, no war is popular for any veteran who suf-fers the mental anguish and worse death of soldiers who have been sacrificed. no, there is no such thing as a good dynasty. It has to be an oxymoron.

In the Philippines it does not matter whether it is good or bad, it is simply against our constitution and unless

simply to live for today. The problem was they were so high on drugs they never knew what DaY it was!

John Lennon was also very proud of being a devout atheist. He did not believe in god.

In fact, in 1966 John Lennon said: “Christianity will die out. We, the beatles, are more popular than Jesus now. I don’t know which will go away first: rock ‘n’ roll or Christianity.” Then Lennon himself was the first to go when he was suddenly shot and killed on the streets of new York City.

You see, our Creator gave us our freedom so we can choose whose way we want to live: His way or our way.

but Je sus s t rong ly warned us that our way is definitely the wrong way; because no matter how hard we try we can’t ever be fully satisfied by living our way. What’s worse, Jesus said it will only lead us into hell––a place full of the worst pain and suffering forever.

In fact, it’s so terrible that our maker Himself chose to become a human being just to give His innocent

this is re written and ratified by the people, any and all dynasties is a violation to date. Leaving this decision to the people to vote whoever they wish to place in power during any election is no excuse.

The constitution is clear that this is a violation as said and I quote for the millionth time; on article II Section 26 “The State shall guarantee equal access to opportunities for public service and prohibit political dynasties as may be defined by law.”

The prohibition is direct and clear. our politicians and the many government agencies simply rationalize to bring their relatives into political power.

To guarantee equal access to opportunities for pub-lic service makes it definitive that no dynasty can exist much less perform good but only for the bad meaning a clear violation.

The last portion “as may be defined by law” is a violation of our legislators the past twenty five years avoiding their responsibility only to allow their dynas-ties to establish themselves into power.

The people are fooled into legalese to the present day with no less the independent commission the ComELEC who recently pronounced they are helpless on this issue to the detriment of the populace.

Interestingly enough it has finally come to pass

Zamboanga City––En-vironmental groups and villagers continue to oppose the proposed coal-fired power plant in Davao City in the southern Philippines, saying its carbon emission and other hazardous pol-lutants would effect the ecology and human health.

The aboitiz Power is building a 300-megawatt coal-fired power plant in Toril, but residents are op-posing the plan. greenpeace has also opposed the build-ing of the fossil fuel plant in the area, citing the ef-fects to the environment of carbon emission in the air. The power firm insists its plant would address the electricity problem.

Company, which provides electricity to the city and other areas, is also owned by aboitiz Power. Last year, it sold 1.583 billion kilowatt-hours to some 294,000 cus-tomers with a peak demand of 288 megawatts.

The environmenta l group greenpeace has re-peatedly called for the full implementation of the Re-newable Energy (RE) Law. The RE Law was passed in 2008, but after four years, is still in the shelf, with decisions on provisions, such as the Feed-In-Tariff rates, delayed by two years.

but it said the biggest obstacle to the RE Law is the blatant pro-coal stance of the Department of En-ergy then under Sec. Rene almendras, who in his two years in office, had given the green light to at least

given the go green light to op-erate coal-fired power plants are Trans asia in batangas, SmI Power in Davao del Sur, masinloc Power in Zambales, San Ramon Power (Conal Holdings) in Zamboanga city, gn Power in bataan, alsons Consolidated in Sarangani, San miguel Corp. many people in those ar-eas are also strongly opposed to coal-fired power plants. In Zamboanga City, the village chieftain Josephine Pareja is leading a peaceful pro-test in Talisayan where San Ramon Power is building a 100-megawatt coal-fired power plant.

greenpeace said any investment in dirty coal plants means investment and opportunity lost for clean and safe RE systems.

It said: “Coal is the dirti-est fossil fuel. From mining through combustion to waste disposal, coal has a dire impact on the envi-ronment, human health and the social fabric of communities living near mines, power plants and waste sites.”

DIgoS City––The bureau of Fire Protection (bFP) here is still facing a blank wall on the cause of the fire that gutted recently a newly-completed P1.4 million worth tourism project initiated by the provincial govern-ment of Davao del Sur in barangay aplaya here.

The floating restaurant is one of the pet projects of the Provincial Tourism board headed by board member mercedes “Didi” Cagas, the wife of Davao del Sur governor

Douglas Ra. Cagas and mother of First District representative marc Douglas C. Cagas.

First of its kind in the province, the floating restaurant is a compo-nent project of the already finished aplaya baywalk Park funded by the Philippine Tourism authority (PTa) formerly headed by mark Lapid.

Witnesses said the fire started at around 10:30 p.m. on november 14. The fire quickly fanned out the res-taurant’s structure which was mostly made of combustible materials.

bFP officials believed the burning of the restaurant was intentionally

done or arson.bm Cagas is now offering P100

thousand reward to any person who could give a tip for the arrest of the suspect.

aside from the baywalk and float-ing restaurant, the provincial tourism board is now on the way of construct-ing a gymnasium and food terminal in barangay aplaya.

barangay aplaya is the favorite weekend beach destination of people, not only from the other towns of the province but also of those from the neighboring north Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat provinces.

LanUZa bEIng LEFT oUT? There is something I don’t understand in the efforts to save overseas Fili-pino workers (oFWs) who have been sentenced to die or to harsh prison terms in the countries where they are working. From Vice President Jejomar binay to Pampanga gov. Lilia Pineda, they have launched fund drives to pay for the liberty of the condemned oFWs.

but then, there seems to be a deliberate snub of the case of one Dondon Lanuza, an oFW sentenced to die in Saudi arabia but who was given a reprieve because his death sentence was ordered lifted, provided he pays what is known as “blood money”. He is now moving heaven and earth to raise this “blood money”, so he is very visible in social networking sites like Face-book, but binay and Pineda do not seem willing to help him. Why?

In verse 5 of Exodus 20, we have this dire warning from god about images: “You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your god, am a jealous god, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me…”

CIFIC: Congratulations to Cebu Pacific, the country’s largest national flag carrier, for becoming so successful that it has been able to fly some 70 million passengers already since it started its operations. Indeed, its own-ers and officers are show-ing everyone that being good in business is not an accident---it is a matter of dedication, hard work, and good planning. I just hope that Cebu Pacific can confer with officials of the Depart-ment of Transportation and Communications to resolve flight delays, which are becoming an ordinary routine at the airports.

institutional collections of Philippine art today,” the

museum added. Here are some more facts

about the bSP art collection that enthusiasts may be interested to know:

Some of the first groups of paintings acquired by the bangko Sentral in the late 1950s to be displayed in its offices were of the so-called “mabini art.” These paintings were bought along mabini Street in the Ermita district, where many of manila’s art galleries were concentrated during that time.

The biggest painting in the bSP art collection is “Pagdiriwang” (oil, 1956) by national artist Jose Joya. It measures 515 X 700 centi-meters and currently hangs at the main lobby of the Philippine International Convention Center.

The bSP Painting Collec-tion is among a few public collections in the country that hold representative works of all the national artists of the Philippines in the field of painting.

The bSP holds a number of 19th century religious paintings in its art collec-tion. For example, the works of a master painter from bohol is well represented in the collection, with “14 Stations of the Cross” and other portraits of saints such as those of “Saint anthony abbot” (circa 1840) and “St. Joseph” (1830). It would be interesting to know that despite his anonymity (be-ing only referred to as the “bohol master”), the master painter from the Visayan province is indeed very prolific. His “14 Stations of the Cross” is presently on display at the 4th Floor of the bangko Sentral’s 5-Story building.

The senator said the is-sue should have been put to rest from the start had the PDEa filed the appropriate cases against the politicians concerned.

“The normal course of action is to file cases in the appropriate courts or government agencies. Un-less PDEa does not have evidence, in which case it should have just kept its mouth shut first and quietly built the cases against the suspected perpetrators,” Escudero added.

land authorities reportedly took a picture of Yu while passing through its Immi-gration bureau.

He even offered a sepa-rate bounty amounting to 20,000 dollars for Yu’s arrest dead or alive.

He initially offered a P5-million reward if one can bring Yu’s head to him, literally.

This was later raised to P6 million if the fugi-tive remains at large after December.

“You can cut his head off, put it in the ice to pre-serve it and present it before me before you can get the five million pesos reward,” Duterte said in a press con-ference last month.

Yu, alive, will carry the bounty of only P2-million, Duterte said.

Yu, dead, will mean P4 million, while the head of Yu on ice makes whoever can present it P5 million richer.

an official who request-ed anonymity said Thai-land has been Yu’s favorite country to travel to since he established contacts there in his carnapping and smug-gling business.

anot her do c ument showed that before that travel oct 18, Yu was also in Thailand aug 24, 2012 and returned a week later.

Yu’s group was described by authorities as the most notorious in mindanao where 90 percent of car-napping incidents in the Davao Region have been perpetrated by the group.

Highway patrol officer regional chief Sr. Supt. greg Pimentel said the group has links with other car-nap syndicates in Cebu, which he identified as the group of Jovel Entote, Yu’s brother-in-law.

He added Entote was arrested by the authorities two months ago and is now incarcerated.

another member, iden-tified as Cocoy Dalugdog, was also arrested in Cagayan de oro City on oct 7, 2011 but he was out on bail after weeks of incarceration.

nov 25, he and his live-in partner were ambushed in maramag, bukidnon.

Pimentel said the only remaining members of the syndicate, still free, are Yu and one mark Lester Reyes based in metro manila.

He admitted they had a hard time implicating Yu in

according to the Union of Concerned Scientists, in an average year, a typical coal plant (500 megawatts) generates the following amounts of air pollutants:

- 3.7 million tons of carbon dioxide (Co2), an amount equivalent to chopping down 161 million trees. Co2 pollution is the principal human cause of global warming and climate change.

- 10,000 tons of sulfur dioxide (So2), which causes acid rain and forms small airborne particles that can cause lung damage, heart disease, and other illnesses.

- 10,200 tons of nitrogen oxides (nox), equivalent to

half a million late-model cars. nox leads to for-mation of smog, which inflames lung tissue and increases susceptibility to respiratory illness.

- 500 tons of small air-borne particles, which can cause bronchitis, reductions in lung function, increased hospital and emergency room admissions, and pre-mature death.

- 220 tons of hydrocar-bons, which contribute to smog formation.

- 720 tons of carbon monoxide (Co), which causes headaches and places additional stress on people with heart disease.

- 170 pounds of mer-cury. 1/70th of a teaspoon of mercury deposited in a 25-acre lake can make the fish unsafe to eat. mercury also causes learning dis-abilities, brain damage, and neurological disorders.

- 225 pounds of arsenic, which leads to cancer in 1 out of 100 people who drink water containing 50 parts per billion.

- 114 pounds of lead, 4 pounds of cadmium, and other toxic heavy metals.

These toxic metals can accumulate in human and animal tissue and cause serious health problems, including mental retarda-tion, developmental dis-orders, and damage to the nervous system.

It said coal contains mi-nor amounts of the radio-active elements, uranium and thorium. When coal is burnt, the fly ash contains uranium and thorium at up to 10 times their original levels.

and solid waste from a 500-megawatt coal plant contains 120,000 tons of ash and 193,000 tons of coal sludge from the smokestack scrubber. Toxic substances in ash and sludge include ar-senic, mercury, chromium, and cadmium. (mindanao Examiner)

along with the introduction of Kto12 education system in the country are public speculations on the readiness of teachers for this new format. “We are trying our best to capacitate teachers for them to become effective, efficient, and excellent in the delivery of their lessons,” Dr. carmensita Dinampo, head of the curriculum and learning Management Division of Department of education (Deped) VII, said.

During the nov. 10 episode of “pagtuki”, the official radio program of ramon aboitiz Foundation Inc. (raFI), Dinampo said that some teachers have already joined divisional, regional, and national trainings. She stressed that most of the teacher-participants have showed strong commitment in facing the challenge posed by the newly-adapted education system.

according to her, these trainings for the elementary and secondary teachers aimed to maximize their skills in handling the Kto12 system.

Kto12 is the new curricula of Deped for the primary and secondary education public schools. With K to 12, an addi-tional two more years is added before students can proceed to college.

“those school administrators who have undergone train-ings will train those untrained teachers in their division. there is a need to retool and re-engineer particular areas of instruction,” she added.

She stressed that the excess money from the Kto12 budget allocated for central Visayas is being cascaded to its provinces for the provision of instructional materials.

“In the K to12 program, we provide teachers lesson guides aligned to the new system. the new design of instruction, the spiral progression approach, is arranged in a way that teachers can easily follow through. teachers can also modify this guide in order to fit the needs of their students,” she said.

Dinampo acknowledges that there are still those who are doubtful towards the Kto12 system. Believing that the sys-tem had the best intentions for philippine education, Deped reaches out to other stakeholders and institutions.

“We also check our relationship with our local govern-ment units and non-government organizations. providing quality education cannot be done by schools alone. We need partners,” she said.

“the goal of the Kto12 system is communicative com-petence. However, we need further researches and studies on the new program in order to address certain problems in the education system,” she stressed.

the Kto12 program has also introduced the use of mother tongue as medium of instruction. the Mother tongue-based Multi-lingual education (MtB-Mle) shall be applied from kindergarten to grade 3 in both public and private schools.

“pagtuki” is aired over dyla every Saturday at 10-11 a.m. the program, which is one of the Knowledge Sharing & advocacy capabilities of raFI, tackles timely and relevant issues affecting the cebuano community.

For more information about raFI’s radio program, please contact Fatrick tabada at 418-7234 loc. 542, or visit www.rafi.org.ph or www.facebook.com/rafi.org.ph.

Zamboanga City––The Philip-pine army on Wednesday ordered troops to rescue a kidnapped Filipino teacher who is believed being held in Zamboanga del norte province, a spokesman said.

Capt. alberto Caber said kidnap-pers seized Flordeliza ongchua, 49, inside her house in the village of Labuan in Zamboanga City. Caber said only the woman was taken by gunmen late Tuesday.

“maj. general Ricardo Rainier Cruz III (the regional army chief ) directed concerned military units in the area to help the Zamboanga City

Police to pursue the lawless armed group for the immediate safe rescue of the victim,” Caber told The manila Times last night.

Citing military report, Caber said the kidnappers fled toward the town of Sibuco in Zamboanga del norte province.

“The motive of the kidnapping is still unknown and the perpetrators have not yet contacted the victim’s family,” he said.

at least a dozen gunmen barged in the house of Francisco after fail-ing to find their target, the village chieftain Ronald maravilla, who is a relative of the victim.

no individual or group claimed responsibility for the latest abduc-

tion that occurred in the village of Labuan.

Police and military officials were not immediately available to make a statement about the incident, but kidnappings-for-ransom is not un-common in Zamboanga City.

In 2009, suspected abu Sayyaf reb-els also kidnapped three government teachers - Freires Quizon, Janette delos Reyes and Rafael mayorada - in Zamboanga City. and three more teachers - Jocelyn Enriquez, Jocelyn Inion and noime mande – in the town of naga in the neighboring province of Zamboanga Sibugay also in the same year.
