MIMMS Major Incident, Medical Management and Support: L’approccio pratico sulla scena d’incidente

MIMMS: punti chiave e curriculum in sintesi Corso di un giorno (Basic) e due giorni (Advanced).

Il corso Basic è propedeutico al corso Advanced. Quest’ultimo può essere frequentato anche non di seguito, purché entro i due anni di validità previsti per il corso Basic.

Didattica Lezioni frontali, workshop, skill stations, simulazioni guidate a tavolino, EPSF (Esercitazioni Pratiche Senza Feriti), test scritto e prove pratiche finali di valutazione.

Validità delle Attestazioni MIMMS Basic: 2 anni MIMMS Advanced: 4 anni

Ricertificazione Superato un corso MIMMS Advanced e trascorsi 4 anni, i candidati che vogliano rinnovare i l l o ro a t te s t a to devono partecipare nuovamente almeno ad un corso Basic. L’attestato Basic viene rinnovato seguendo un altro corso Basic.

Il corso MIMMS tratta la natura e la gestione di un incidente maggiore (meglio definito come: emergenza complessa), ponendo l’accento su quanto necessario per fornire il miglior supporto sanitario alle vittime, in particolare quando il numero di esse è elevato.

È l’unico standard a diffusione internazionale per la gestione e supporto sanitario in caso di emergenza complessa. L’addestramento MIMMS è utilizzato in tutto il mondo per integrare la preparazione del personale sanitario sia civile che militare.

Gli obiettivi del corso includono:

•  Comprendere l’organizzazione, la struttura e i ruoli per la gestione di incidente maggiore e come questi tre aspetti si integrino fra loro.

•  Essere in grado di preparare e attuare un approccio strutturato, integrato fra i vari servizi d’emergenza, quando si risponda ad un incidente maggiore (i principi CSCVTTT).

•  Essere in grado di fornire l’assistenza sanitaria necessaria durante un incidente maggiore tramite triage, trattamento e trasporto.

Assessment and certification Assessment takes place on day two of the course. If you are successful, MIMMS certification is valid for four years and includes access to our VLE.

MIMMS Major Incident, Medical Management and Support: The practical approach at the scene

MIMMS presents the nature and management of a major incident, focusing on how to deliver the medical support needed to multiple casualties. As the only international standard in major incident medical management, the course is taught and the principles are practiced throughout the world, being integrated into civilian and military medical practice.

The course objectives include: Understanding the organisations, structures and roles in managing major incidents and how

they work together.

Able to prepare for and implement a structured approach when responding to major incidents (CSCATTT).

Able to deliver the medical support needed at major incidents, through triage, treatment and transport.
