• “Looking forward” at Essential Standards being assessed on the upcoming benchmark assessment using the Yearlong Assessment Blueprint

• Analyzing the WA State Performance Expectations to get more detailed information

• Reviewing items from Data Director as examples

• Looking at upcoming chapter/unit work

MATH BENCHMARK ASSESSMENT

• Given three times a year • Fall, Winter, Spring• K-6• Complete prior to Measurement of Student Progress (MSP)

• Approximately 24 items per assessment• 6 items per essential standard

• Scored onsite• Scanned same day• Teachers have data immediately

LOOKING AT DATA

• Meet as a staff to review Data Director access

• Identify reports that will be most useful to our work

• Give some time to initially look at the data

• Begin the reflection towards “next steps”
