Provides fire protection engineering assistance
to USACE offices involved in the design and
construction of fire protection systems for
aircraft hangars. The TCX has sought to
standardize design procedures and approaches
to deliver better systems to our customers. The
goal is to assure that hangar fire protection

cost effective, reliable, and maintainable as
possible. Fire suppression foam testing
TAM SPECIALIZED CAPABILITIES
Center of Standardization for Non-Permanent Facilities
Provides standard designs that meet current and future contingency operational needs with low
cost facility designs that are easily constructed using local materials and building methods.
10
CSNPF off the shelf designs meet a variety of contingency needs.
CSNPF designs ensure UFC compliance.
USACE CONTINGENCY DEPLOYMENT CENTER
The UCDC recruits and deploys civilian personnel to support current and emergent Overseas
Contingency Operations (OCO) in all CCMD theaters where engineering capabilities are required
during the execution of all phases of named operations in order to ensure deployed US Forces
are provided timely, high quality technical engineering and contract construction support.
