Course Booking Form

HBE Open Course Terms and Conditions

Booking To book a place at a public training course run by HBE, please email a completed booking form for each delegate to [email protected], which will be emailed to you upon receipt of your enquiry.

Confirmation of your bookingOnce we have processed your booking, we will send you a confirmation email with an invoice. Your place is only guaranteed once payment has been received. Bookings made less than 21 days prior to the start of the course will require immediate payment.

Payment Payment must be received within 30 days of the invoice date or in advance of the training course, whichever is the sooner, regardless of booking date. Training Certificates will not be released until payment has been received.

Fees All training courses are subject to VAT at the current rate, excluding the Republic of Ireland where VAT is not applicable. Course fees include tuition and exam fees, all relevant course materials, lunch and refreshments.

Special RequirementsShould you have any special dietary or access requirements, HBE will try to accommodate the special requirements which have been notified in advance on the booking form.

Joining InstructionsJoining instructions, including outline of the day and venue details, will be issued prior to the course. If you have not received your joining instructions three days prior to the training course, please call the Training team on 0845 6399 673 or 01 257 3141 from Ireland. HBE will not be held responsible for non-receipt of joining instructions and refunds will not be issued under such circumstances.

Cancellation terms If you are unable to attend the classroom training course, a substitute delegate may be notified to HBE at any time up to 24 hours prior to the start of the course. Notification and the necessary booking details must be supplied on a course booking form.

Alternatively a refund will be given for cancellations for classroom training received in writing, by letter or email, up to 14 days prior to the event, less an administration charge of 25% plus VAT. Regrettably no refunds can be made for cancellations received less than 14 days prior to the course commencement.

Non-attendance If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked and have not given prior notice to HBE in writing, then the course fee will remain payable in full and no transfer will be allowed.

Cancellation of a courseOpen courses are subject to minimum delegate numbers. A course may be cancelled if these minimum numbers are not achieved.

Where circumstances dictate, HBE reserves the right to alter programmes, trainers, fees or venues without prior notice. In the event of a course being cancelled, a refund of the course fee will be made, but no compensation will be paid for any additional costs which may have been incurred.

Dress codeThere is no dress code. However, most participants choose to wear smart casual clothing. Due to variable temperatures of air conditioned rooms, wearing layers is advised.

Liability HBE does not accept responsibility for anyone acting as a result of information or views expressed on its training courses including course material. Opinions expressed are those of the individual trainers and not necessarily those of HBE. Participants should take professional advice when dealing with specific situations.
