Microsoft Virtual PC 2004

Step One: Download/Install

The first thing you need to do is to download Microsoft Virtual PC 2004. This can be found at

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtualpc/downloads/sp1.mspx

Once its done downloading then double click setup.exe and it will install.

Step Two: Using Virtual PCClick start, all programs, and then click Microsoft Virtual PC. Then click new. This will launch the create a new virtual machine wizard.

Step Three: Creating a MachineThen click next.

Step Three:cont.Then select an option and click next

Step Three:cont.Name and choose the location of the virtual machine.

Step Three:cont.Then select your Operating System and click next.

Step Three:cont.Select the RAM you want and click next.

Step Three:cont.Select your hard drive settings and click next.

Step Three:cont.Choose the name and location of the virtual hard disk, then click next.

Step Three:cont.If you are happy with the virtual machine settings click finish and it will make your virtual machine.

Step Four: Adding Hardware

From the Virtual PC console click settings. From here you can change hardware settings.

Step Five: Starting your Install

Insert your Operating System CD and click start on the Virtual PC Console. This will start your

virtual machine.

Step Six: InstallThe Virtual machine should boot to the CD. Then you can install and run your virtual operating

system.
