Micron CF is a multi-season antifouling that uses Biolux® Slime Blocking Technologyto combat slime and Econea® to ward off barnacles and zebra mussels. Like all Micron paints Micron CF is a polishing product that reduces paint build up and the self-smoothing characteristics of the paint reduce friction and improve fuel efficiency. A high solids formulation, Micron CF offers reduced solvent emissions and is VOC compliant. Micron CF is available in 4 bright colors including shell white as well as a crisp black. Micron CF is suitable for use on all boats

Micron® Technology uses biocides more efficiently than old fashioned hardbottom paints:

Micron Technology antifouling paints polish at a controlled rate delivering a constant amount of biocideover time. The release rate of biocide is much more efficient than that of old fashioned hard antifoulings.In simple terms, if you can still see Micron on the boat, it is still working for you. Hard antifoulings willtend to lose their effectiveness over time.

Old fashioned hardantifoulings will eventuallyleave biocide trapped withina rough, honeycombedpaint film that will need tobe removed by sanding orscraping.

After many years of using old fashioned hardantifouling paint, the paint film continues to build up,become brittle, and starts to crack and flake off.

Micron Technology antifoulings polish at acontrolled rate and therefore will never build up No paint build up means that you will never have to remove old layers of Micron and spend precioushours or money each time you want to repaint. It isthis controlled polishing that enables Micron to beused on all boats, in all waters, and at all times!

What is Biolux? Biolux® is a unique antifouling technology developed by Interlux®that incorporates organic boosting biocides into a special biocide release system. This

blocks slime growth for a fouling free boat bottom. How does it work? – Just like ordinaryplants, slime and algae feed on sunlight. Formulations that use Biolux® technology prevent algae and slime from being able to grow by acting like sunscreen to block this process
