Through funds raised in former drives Ralph Peckens of Fowlerville was sent to the Warm Springs Foundation in Georgia several years ago which place was donated to the cause by the late President Frank lin Roosvelt, himself a victim of polio and through whose efforts the yearly campaign was started.
