GETTING STARTED IS AS EASY AS 1…2…3…

1. Locate and Download the Michelin Passenger & LT Warranty App in the Google Play Store, by searching for “Michelin Passenger.”

2. Before creating a new Warranty Claim, register as Open Market Dealer. Login to the Michelin Pas- senger & LT Warranty App with User Name and Password provided during registration. New Registrations must contact your Michelin Distrib- utor for Ship To and Zip Code of location to return your warranty tires. If assistance is needed to complete self-registrations, please contact the Michelin eBusiness Help Desk at 888-624-2638 and advise you are an Open Market Dealer registering for the Warranty App.

3. Log in to the app with your new user name and password.

Please note: If you are not familiar with the Michelin Warranty Claim process please contact your autho-rized Michelin Distributor for assistance.

NOW THE APP IS READY TO USE!

To start a warranty claim click on the Warranty Claim menu item. All fields requiring data input

are marked with an asterisk (*). Click on the (+) in the top right corner to begin. Enter consumer and vehicle information.

Click Tire Details in the top right corner and remember to select the Removed Tire Details to add removed tire info.

After your first tire information is entered, you can click Add to duplicate the tire information. You will still need to update the Wheel Position, DOT, Re-maining Tread Depth, etc. After all removed tires have been added, click Done in the top left corner.

Click Tire Details in the top left corner to return to the screen in order to complete the transaction.

The Chat feature allows you to discuss your claim with a Tire Expert. Go to Goggle Hangouts and message [email protected]. Google Hangouts are available in the Google Play Store. Chat should be done prior to submitting the claim.

Claim is now in Dealer Approval Pending status for your Distributor to complete.

Next, the Consumer and Dealer must Agree to Terms before submitting the claim.

You can now click Register New/Installed DOT to automatically register the installed tires.

Once all required information has been entered, click the top right button to Submit the claim.

Claim Types 1, 2 & 6 will then be in Dealer Approval Pending status. Each tire line will display the amount to charge the consumer.

Claim Type 7 requires an Authorization Code. Shortly after a Claim Type 7 has been submitted from the app, you’ll receive the claim number with the Autho-rization Code. No phone call needed!

REALTIME DIGITAL INSPECTION

For Claim Type 7: Use the Digital Inspection feature to send 2 photos or short videos showing the DOT number and the tire damage. Shortly after Claim Type 7 has been submitted, you’ll receive a notifica-tion with the authorization code. At that point the claim will be in Dealer Approval Pending status, if the tires are to be returned.

If tires do not have to be returned, you’ll receive this notification: DO NOT RETURN TIRES. TIRES MUST BE SCRAPPED. The claim will then move immediately to Submitted status for credit processing.

Important: Claims started in the mobile app should be completed in the app, in order to receive the au-tomatic notification with the Authorization Code.

Submitted Claims will no longer appear in the App for OMD’s. They will be available for Distributor to complete in BibNet in Dealer Approval Pending status.

Before you click Submit, you must click option top right to print/email pdfs for tire label. The claim is now in Dealer Approval Pending status for your Distributor to complete.

1. From My Warranty Claims, click on the claim 2. Click Tire Details 3. Click the Action Button 4. Click Tire Bar Code 5. Once the Bar Codes display, click on the Action Button

6. From here you have the ability to print, message, or email the Tire Bar Codes.

Contact your Distributor for Warranty Tire Pick Up instructions. Do not ship tires directly to Michelin.

All Open Market Dealer warranty tires must be pro-cessed through the Michelin Distributor.

Important: Claims started in the mobile app should be completed in the app, in order to receive the auto-matic notification with the Authorization Code.

Submitted Claims will no longer appear in the App for OMD’s. They will be available for Distributor to complete in BibNet in Dealer Approval Pending status.

WARRANTY APP HELPFUL HACKS

• Use the app with or without a wifi connection. • Without wifi you can save claims pending completion under Draft Claims. • A wifi connection is needed to submit the claim to Michelin. • Use Google Hangouts to chat with Michelin Tire Experts before claim submission. • Claims submitted to the Distributor will appear in Dealer Approval Pending status for your Distribu- tor to complete.

• You can enter data in any order, such as going straight to Tire Details to enter the removed tire information.

• Type in or scan the VIN number from the vehicle door to auto-populate the VIN!

• Register the replacement tire DOTs at the time a claim is submitted.

• eMail, message, or print the Tire Bar Codes and the Pack List

ANDROID SHORTCUTS

• To delete a line, swipe left on the line you want to delete.

• To edit a line tap on the line to access the details.

• To delete a claim, swipe left on the claim you want to delete. • Make sure your device is set up with permission to receive notifications from the app.
