Promote the UNICEF Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative to local birthing facilities and hospitals.

individuals), in Homestead and a worksite market at the Stephen P. Clark Government Center,Downtown Miami. Both markets are open Fridays and accept Supplemental NutrutionAssitance Program (SNAP) and Eletronics Benefits Program (EBT) and double Food Stampsbenefits are offered.
Urban Oasis Project
Operates a community market in the Upper Eastside neighborhood of Miami and a worksite
market at the Jesse Trice Community Health Center.
War on Poverty
Operates a farmers market at Nathan B. Young Elementary School.
Garden of Ian (GOI)
Working at the Troy Community Garden and Little Haiti Community Gardens to increase
plantable space and improve existing irrigation systems.
Miami Foundation Youth L.E.A.D.
Educates community residents about healthy food options to increase knowledge and access
through surveys, outreach materials and cooking demonstrations at farmers markets andhealth fairs.
