Maia Satinjet® is the world’s first shower to deliver the health and beauty

benefits of a spa experience in the privacy of your bathroom.

Maia improves the health and condition of your hair and skin by reducing

the amount of the chlorine in the water. Most of the harmful effects of

chlorine are due to inhalation and skin absorption. Chlorine strips the skin

of its natural protective barrier. It’s also drying to skin and hair and affects

hair colour — especially when artificially coloured.

Your Maia uses a replaceable vitamin C cartridge fitted into the back of the handset

to decrease chlorine. The cartridge releases small amounts of dissolved vitamin C

into the water as it passes through, delivering purer water to your skin.

This innovative delivery of vitamin C is Methven’s world first Pure™ technology.

The vitamin C cartridge is effective for approximately 120 showers lasting

10 minutes. This will last a household of 4 around 1 month.
