What is the Media? In the strictest meaning of the work, a Medium is a channel of communication. Media is the plural of Medium, and simply refers to more than one channel of communication. The Media also refers to the industries which produce media products such as newspapers, films, the internet, television and computer games.

P1 (50 Minutes) This lesson will always be learning about a Media Theory in preparation for Section A of the examination.
Its vital you keep these notes to hand to use for revision in the summer.
You will study more complex media theories and debates than AS Media. (Semiotics, Marxism, Genre Theories).

You will choose a representation and an aspect of digital media to study they should all be different.
You will then use your notes and research to answer questions in the exam.
