Geography Mostly dry desert climate in SW Asia (Middle
East)
Except in region between Tigris / Euphrates rivers
A flat plain known as Mesopotamia lies between the two rivers
Religion Mesopotamians believed that the world was a flat disc,
surrounded by a huge, holed space, and above that, heaven.
Mesopotamian religion was polytheistic.

Art Art of the ancient civilizations that grew up in the area
around the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, now in Iraq. Mesopotamian art was largely used to glorify powerful dynasties, and often reflected the belief that kingship and the divine were closely interlocked.

feudal societies that would develop in Europe centuries later.
The economic system I described above primarily dealt in agriculture and clothing, the basic needs of society for the middle and lower-peasant classes. They would sell grain, wheat, and farm animals.
Languaje The earliest language written in Mesopotamia was
Sumerian.
Semitic(was first used to refer to a language family of largely Middle Eastern origin) dialects were also spoken in early Mesopotamia.
Government Kings
The Mesopotamians believed their kings and queens were descended from the City of Gods.
Power
They all had their own governor who had to make the laws and to try that made justice.
Laws
In this part we speak about the code of Hammurabi. It code had very laws for the all person in general.
