DESCRIPTION

DESCRIPTION OF MERIDIEMMeridiem is a game all about choices and whether or not it actually matters. With trying to take down enemies and level up to become more and more powerful. Where time is somewhat important in that saving a town on the brink of destruction in the morning is not the same as the night. Also Finding weapons that really aid you team can be vital that your team has weapons that match their fighting style and skills. Travelling is another important part of the world of meridiem with their being 1000 towns and a lot of distance in-between different ones. While a player only needs to have gone through the 100 plot necessary towns to complete the game to encourage 100 percent completion. This game also as stated before includes a lot of choices these choices aren’t “prompts” but more naturally made decisions in the actions the player makes. Leading to hopefully an enjoyable game.

STORY OF MERIDIEM

The story of Meridiem follows the adventures of Aaron Baker. Lives in your regular average mega future city. However dark and maleficent creatures (called Nightpods) bore there way through and begin destroying his city. As his town is turned to rubble his family is caught up in the destruction and killed. The game picks up 4 years after this with Aaron Baker finally given the opportunity to stop the Nightpods that torment the people of earth. He learns that after accidentally consuming one of the monsters that it gives incredibly increased strength and speed. It also makes him a little angrier with the ability to shoot purple flames out of his hands. The game then goes off on his quest as he increases his power over time. He is joined by an assassin by the name of Bethany Wind, and an amazing inventor named Edwin Eustace. Aaron goes from town trying to finally find the origin spot of the invasion(Aaron’s Hometown). Till finally facing the leader/defender of the Nightpods. Finally to make him and the player to make their final decision.

TOWNS I would like towns to be very mid 1600th century-esk housing and clothes. Jarring against the very futuristic tools and items. This due to mostly buildings were destroyed and the oppression of the Nightpods, it made simple houses necessary. With a wide variety of towns there are more futuristic houses however the more futuristic a town is the more deserted it is likely to be due to radiation/weather/etc.

There are also areas in-between towns however those have not been designed just yet.
