Mentor Responsibilities
Confidentiality
MANDATORY REPORTERSBy law, mandatory reporters must report suspected abuse or neglect of a child regardless of whether or not the knowledge of the abuse was gained in the reporter’s official capacity. Notify your coordinator immediately. Call DHS or law enforcement.
Confidentiality is paramount!✔ Student information is private and
confidential.✔ Do not share information with
anyone, whether it’s financial in nature or knowledge where the student has applied to school.
✔ All mentors will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement.
