MendittOROSA tHe ORiGin Born from a lava catharsis, Mendittorosa odori d’anima came into being in 2011 at the base of a powerful Sicilian volcano “Stromboli” that has been charging the surrounding area with emotion and energy since pre-historic times.

it was here on this island at one of the most southern points in the Mediterranean that Stefania Squeglia was gifted with her true vocation in the form of a memory that had been out of reach until that moment: as a young girl in naples, she would take the glass jars her grandmother used to store homemade tomato sauce and fill them with foraged rose petals and oils.She would then hide them in the dark to discover them later. erupted. inspired by the impeccable craftsmanship she grew up around, for Mendittorosa odori d’anima, Stefania decided to eschew the market logic that prioritizes quantity over quality in order to have her products crafted by all italian hands. the result is a line of exceptional objects featuring sculptural keepsakes and distinguishing characteristics that will delight for years to come.

italian-based artist hands forged the metal caps, metal labels and all the metallic detailing that was meticulously conceived to mimic lands, symbols and ideas behind Mendittorosa.

Fragrance boxes were created as perfect replicas of the birch wood boxes used to ship art around the world, complete with bi-color metal engravings, a gliding closure system, and a twine and metal bolero wrap.
